Fixed Systems Service Engineer
Teledyne Technologies Incorporated
• Provide service and repair of Gas detection equipment and systems. • Perform on-site installation and commissioning. • Oversee any necessary diagnoses and troubleshooting. • Instruct customers in operation and maintenance of the system. • Serve as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. • Interpret customers’ needs and clarify problem resolution responsibilities. • Plan and undertake routine service calls within defined territory. • Ensure maintenance of spares, consumables, and accessories in the company vehicle. • Control individual expenses and maintain company assets. • Ensure test equipment is calibrated and tested at defined intervals. • Provide weekly and monthly reports to Service Manager with call plans for following week.
Job Requirements
- Fault finding skills.
- Scheduling of work diary.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to read circuit diagrams and electrical drawings.
- Work to RA / MS and “Permit To Work” Schemes.
- Full Driving Licence.
