Role Description Your future role at a glance - Perform deep-dive data profiling on source datasets to evaluate quality, completeness, and anomalies, ensuring data is primed for integration into enterprise platforms. - Utilize Google BigQuery to execute complex SQL queries, validate transformations, and build reusable datasets and views to support downstream analytics. - Conduct detailed data flow analysis to map source-to-target relationships, establish data lineage, and identify dependencies across databases and applications. - Partner with product managers and data engineers to translate business needs into technical requirements and define scalable integration strategies. - Lead root cause analysis for data discrepancies and monitor quality metrics to implement effective remediation and cleansing strategies. - Support the testing of new ingestion pipelines and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including schema metadata and system inventories. Qualifications - High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Requirements - Strong SQL skills (advanced queries, views) for data extraction and validation using BigQuery SQL or equivalent tool such as Redshift. - Strong hands-on experience with data profiling tools (e.g., Informatica Data Quality, Talend, IBM InfoSphere, or techniques using SQL, specialized Python libraries and relational database knowledge). - Proficient in Healthcare data modeling (Star Schema, Dimensional), metadata management, and applying data governance and stewardship best practices.
