Your mission will be to work alongside Caylent’s Software teams, Sales, and Project Managers to deliver AWS solutions across our diverse and forward-thinking customer base. You’ll be hands-on with the latest technologies and support customers looking to bring cutting-edge ideas to market. - Collaborate as a member of software development teams to deliver AI-first, production-ready client software solutions. - Work with the Lead Architect to review technical requirements, contribute to technical decision making, and deliver working software to clients. - Participate in discovery sessions to gather customer requirements. - Follow architecture decisions and adhere to the solution design created by the Lead Architect. - Create, automate, and refine multiple levels of AI-driven testing. - Collaborate with lead software architects, project managers, peers, and leaders to deliver value to clients. Qualifications - Deliver exceptional client experiences, respond professionally to customer inquiries, communicate project status, and provide valuable solutions aligned to client needs. - Demonstrate strong collaboration with internal teams, proactively aligning on priorities, responding to clients, and addressing client feedback. - Communicate technical information clearly and actively listen to clients and team members to confirm understanding and prevent miscommunication. - Familiarity and experience with AWS cloud services. - Experience with more than one backend language such as Python, Node.js, C#, or TypeScript; and familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, MVC, or .NET. Broad expertise is a plus, but proficiency across every technology listed is not required. - Learning and building with AI both for productivity and for enhancing client solutions. - Experience contributing and delivering on client-facing customer engagements. This is a great opportunity for an operational expert who thrives on solving technical puzzles, keeping hypervisors running smoothly, and ensuring our users always enjoy seamless performance. - Manage and administer XCP-ng and XenServer-based hypervisor environments. - Provision, maintain, and troubleshoot virtual machines and core infrastructure components. - Monitor infrastructure health and performance using Zabbix, Datadog, Grafana, XenCenter, and Xen Orchestra. - Respond to alerts, manage incidents, and serve as L2/L3 escalation support for complex technical issues. - Perform hypervisor updates, routine patching, and scheduled maintenance with minimal downtime. - Oversee backup health and support disaster recovery and system restore operations as needed. - Conduct root cause analysis on incidents and document clear steps, procedures, and post-mortems. - Collaborate closely with DevOps, Technical Support, and Security teams to drive continuous improvements in stability and automation. Qualifications - Hands-on experience managing XCP-ng or XenServer virtualized environments. - Solid background in Linux system administration and core networking concepts. - Practical knowledge of monitoring systems (e.g., Zabbix, Datadog, Grafana) and ticketing platforms (Jira, Zendesk). - Experience handling backup, restore, and disaster recovery workflows. - Strong problem-solving abilities with a calm, composed approach during live incidents. - High attention to detail, operational discipline, and clear technical communication skills. - Professional-level fluency in English. - Experience using AI tools to optimize IT workflows or troubleshooting is a plus, but not required. - Familiarity with tools like Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, and a password manager (e.g., 1Password).
