• Lead multiple client onboarding engagements • Serve as the primary client contact during onboarding • Assess clients’ accounting records • Lead accounting clean-up activities • Review balance sheet accounts and financial statements • Develop and document scalable accounting processes • Prepare and present initial financial reports • Coordinate with bookkeeping and internal teams • Identify project risks and escalate issues to leadership • Prepare transition documentation for recurring accounting team

• Lead the full accounting function, including the monthly close, general ledger, reconciliations, financial reporting, consolidation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory accounting, and technical accounting. • Quickly assess the current state of the function, team, systems, open workstreams, and key risks, while identifying immediate opportunities to improve accuracy, accountability, and efficiency. • Bring outstanding audits, covenant reporting, reconciliations, tax-related workstreams, and other critical external deliverables fully current. • Establish a reliable and well-controlled close process, with clear timelines, ownership, documentation, and reporting standards. • Lead relationships with external auditors, accountants, tax advisors, and other partners, serving as Starface’s primary accounting subject-matter expert and point of accountability. • Build and begin executing a practical roadmap for improving accounting processes, controls, systems, documentation, and team structure. • Own accounting systems and tools, including NetSuite, and partner with Operations and Systems to ensure cross-functional decisions support accurate and efficient financial processes. • Evaluate the accounting team’s structure, capabilities, and capacity, develop existing talent, and recommend future hiring priorities. • Manage and coach the accounting team, establishing clear expectations, strong operating rhythms, and opportunities for growth. • Partner closely with the SVP of Finance on priorities, risks, decisions, and communication with executive leadership and the Board. • Strengthen Starface’s readiness for future financing, investment, diligence, or M&A activity by ensuring our accounting records, controls, reporting, and documentation can withstand increased scrutiny. • Identify issues early, communicate them clearly, and bring forward practical recommendations and paths to resolution. • Balance strong controls and financial discipline with the speed and flexibility required in a fast-growing business.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Oversee all accounting operations and financial reporting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, revenue, tax compliance and equity. • Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings in compliance with GAAP. • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures to support a strong control environment and scalable growth. • Manage the annual financial statement audit, tax compliance, and relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other service providers. • Partner with the VP, Finance to prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses that inform strategic decision-making. • Identify and implement process improvements and systems enhancements to increase efficiency and scalability. • Support strategic initiatives, new product launches, system implementations, and other significant business transactions, as needed. This includes creating or updating standard operating procedures as required. • Provide financial leadership and insights to cross-functional teams, translating complex data into actionable recommendations. • Mentor and develop team members, supporting their professional growth and effectiveness.
