Role Description We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Lead Cloud Engineer to serve as an Azure Subject Matter Expert (SME). In this role, you will design, implement, and manage secure Azure Government and hybrid cloud environments. You will ensure all infrastructure solutions are CMMC Level 2 compliant, meet strict federal cybersecurity standards, and align with enterprise business goals. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in infrastructure as code (IaC), compliance (FEDRAMP, NIST, CMMC), and cross-functional leadership. Responsibilities - Architecture & Design: - Provide architectural guidance and system designs for secure, scalable, and resilient Azure Government and hybrid-cloud solutions. - Design hybrid-cloud networking between Azure VNets and AWS VPCs for secure workload interoperability. - Infrastructure Implementation: - Lead the deployment of CMMC-compliant Azure environments using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines (such as GitHub Enterprise and Azure DevOps). - Compliance & Security: - Enforce security, compliance, and governance policies per CMMC L2, FEDRAMP, and NIST standards. - Standardize role-based permissions and configure IAM roles to enhance system security. - Automation & Optimization: - Streamline Azure resources to eliminate inefficiencies. - Automate routine provisioning, standardization, and maintenance tasks using Terraform, PowerShell, and Bash. - Management & Troubleshooting: - Manage core Azure Gov services (Azure AD, VNets, AKS, Storage, Key Vault, Firewall) and implement robust disaster recovery and backup solutions (e.g., Azure Backup). - Troubleshoot advanced infrastructure issues and optimize for performance. - Leadership & Collaboration: - Act as the go-to cloud expert for the engineering team. - Develop comprehensive environmental documentation, mentor junior engineers, and drive the overarching secure platform strategy. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience, with typically 8+ years of enterprise-level support and design experience. - Strong experience in operations and application administration & design. - 8+ years of comprehensive IT experience, with at least 5+ years specializing in Azure infrastructure engineering and architecture within government or highly regulated sectors. - Azure Professional Certification (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer). - Proficiency with ARM/Bicep/Terraform, PowerShell/Bash, and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). - Strong understanding of Azure networking, IAM, and security best practices for government workloads. - Experience with container orchestration (AKS) in regulated environments. Role Description This role will be responsible for leading the analysis, planning, evaluation, implementation, and validation of excellent innovative Contact Center solutions. - Help learn/incorporate new data, advise on reporting options, how to transition stuff like flat call data to working with call segment data (switch to internal transfers). - Provide technical guidance in various contact center initiatives (review, input, recommend) by enforcing the vision of platform architecture and ensuring alignment to strategic roadmap. - Develop, evangelize, nurture, and refine best practices, tools, and processes for accelerating the adoption and delivery of contact center capabilities in a continuous fashion. - Lead and participate in pilot development, coding or troubleshooting. - Provide oversight in the planning, evaluation, recommendation, implementation, and validation of new/emerging technologies. - Provide technical training and education to delivery teams and business partners. - Collaborate with the architecture team to ensure that the technical solution designs and implementation are consistent with the architectural vision. - Own and drive adoption of development tools and best practices across the area's technology portfolio. - Function as subject matter expert and advocate for various contact center capabilities. - Communicate and present technical aspects, risks, challenges, and selling points of a solution to IT and Business partners. - Evaluate and recommend optimal design patterns, builds and implementations. - Collaborate with platform and engineering teams to mature Code quality management, automated testing, and environment management practices. - Support and nurture discovery of reusable patterns across the area's technology portfolio. - Leverage Technology research skills, ability to apply technology advancements to business use cases. - Collaborate with vendors and platform teams to optimize new product and service offerings. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. - 4 or more years of experience in systems analysis and application program development. - 5 years of experience developing Cloud Contact Center solutions like IVR, Queuing & Routing, Callback Assist, Recording Services, WFM/WFO, Analytics, Digital Service Products (IVA/Chat/Text/SMS) and Omni channel. - Experience working with Genesys products with emphasis on PureConnect and Genesys Cloud products. - Experience administrating and supporting PureCloud (Genesys Cloud). - Experience with agile teams and Scrum. - Industry awareness about evolving design patterns for Cloud and Software-as-a-service provider-based solution integration. - Experience with RESTFUL APIs using .net core. - Knowledge and experience working with Genesys Cloud APIs, Architect for system integrations. - Requires excellent communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment and management skills, financial acumen and discipline. - Scripting experience using Python, JavaScript, batch files, or similar. - Ability to work independently as well cooperatively in a group environment to achieve common goals.
