Role Description Syllo is seeking a Director, Value Engineering to help law firms and corporations realize the full value of the unified Syllo platform. Reporting to the EVP of GTM and working closely with Sales, Sales Directors, and the Managing Director, Sales, this leader will build the financial and strategic narrative behind Syllo's platform — from profitability modeling and deal scoping to executive-level briefings with our most sophisticated clients. - Quantify value: Partner directly with the sales team to build and present tailored profitability and ROI models that quantify the value of Syllo's platform. - Conduct deep discovery: Perform in-depth discovery into a prospect's current workflows, cost structure, and case economics, translating findings into compelling, data-backed business cases. - Deliver executive briefings: Design and deliver executive-level briefings and business case presentations for C-suite and Big Four-caliber decision-makers at law firms and corporations. - Scope and structure deals: Help Sales appropriately scope and structure deals, ensuring pricing and packaging align with the value delivered and each client's success criteria. - Scale value selling: Build reusable value frameworks, ROI calculators, and business case templates to scale value-selling across the sales organization. - Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure value messaging is consistent from first pitch through renewal and expansion. - Serve as a trusted advisor: Help strategic accounts build internal buy-in and secure budget for their Syllo investment. - Refine frameworks: Continuously refine value models based on deal outcomes, client feedback, and evolving market dynamics. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in Value Engineering, management consulting, financial analysis, or a similar value-focused discipline within enterprise software/SaaS. - Proven track record of building and presenting financial/ROI models. - Experience in legal tech or professional services economics is a strong plus. - Advanced Excel/modeling proficiency required. - Bachelor's degree required. Requirements - Value engineering expertise: Proven experience in Value Engineering, management consulting, financial analysis, or a similar value-focused discipline within enterprise software/SaaS. - Financial modeling: Proven ability to build and present financial and ROI models, including profitability and business case analysis, to senior and executive stakeholders. - Executive presence: Comfort delivering Big Four-caliber executive briefings and presentations to C-suite audiences. - Analytical mindset: Ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives. - Cross-functional leadership: Demonstrated success partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success. - Legal domain curiosity: Experience in legal tech, eDiscovery, or the legal industry is a plus. Key Responsibilities - Engineering of distribution electrical projects through the entire project lifecycle: from conceptual and feasibility, through detailed design, to construction and service. - Leading or supporting overhead and underground distribution engineering projects defining scopes of work, completing cost estimates, performing engineering calculations, interconnection studies, and developing detailed design drawings. - Supporting the preparation of technical specifications, tender documents, technical reports, and project calculations. - Providing construction support and overall project engineering coordination (as required). - Responding to information requests during construction and completing project documentation including preparation of record drawings. - Leading a team of engineers and designers when required to successfully deliver a portfolio of projects. - Maintaining and enhancing relationships with other design disciplines and external stakeholders and assist team leads and managers. - Traveling and visiting project sites during design and construction (as required).
