Job Description What you get to do in this role: - Attend and participate in all forecast meetings supporting Sales Management in the weekly roll-up of their forecast. - Act as a Business Partner to the reps and leadership you support. - Lead a team of specialists who are responsible for service provider specific account reps and accounts. - Responsible for the quality of work and productivity of each direct report. Including meeting SLA requirements for communication responses, Order Form requests and any urgent and non-standard asks that come to you and your team. - Analytical support and reporting (including QBR) by Region/District. Provide guidance / assistance in QBR deck preparation for team(s). - Drive adoption of forecasting tools and dashboards within respective regions - Provide trainings and guidance to sales and sales operations teams on key Service Provider initiatives. - Special Projects - Training curriculum, data cleanup, additional projects upon assignment or as they arise. - As new products, pricing changes, etc. are introduced, ensure sales readiness from training to systems and operational implementation. - Ensure governance around policy and procedure pertaining to crediting, ordering and pricing for your team. - Provide support on deal structuring and understanding of customer contracts guiding new business, upsell, and cross sell activities. - Act as a point of escalation for non-standard requests; be a liaison between sales and extended internal teams (ie: deals desk, order management, legal, revenue, FP&A etc.) - Attend quarterly leadership QBRs. Qualifications To be successful in this role you have: - Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry. - Has previous management experience. - 2+ Years proven experience of Sales Operations in a software sales organization. Ideally including experience in Partner Sales Operations and firm knowledge of partner influence in a sales cycle. - Has been in a sales supporting role previously. - Proficient in the use of sales methodologies and sales force automation tools. - Provided support on deal structuring. - Proficient in PPT, Word and Excel. - Strong listening, analytic and organizational skills. - Team player with positive attitude. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to drive conflict resolution. - Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication. - Ability to work in an aggressive, fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities. - Must be hands-on with solid attention detail. - Experience in Software as a Service is a plus. - Results Driven.   JV20 For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $94,000 - $155,100, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. • Support Pilz distribution sales channel by: Develop a close relation with all Pilz listed distributors • Hold sales presentations at distributor locations and trade shows • Train Pilz listed distributors on the function of all Pilz parts • Increase the sales of the distribution sales channel by an agreed upon amount within the assigned territory • Travel to distributors in assigned territory to assist them with training and attend joint calls • Help Pilz listed distributors to identify and develop new sales opportunities • Function as an advocate for the distributors within Pilz Automation Safety, L.P. • Provide an excellent experience for the distributors in all interactions • Work with the National Channel Manager (NCM) to sign new distributors • Assist assigned Pilz listed distributors with annual renewal agreements • Drive accounts that fall out of the “Direct Sales Guideline” to the appropriate distribution resource in the assigned territory • Focus direct sales efforts on targeted accounts • Function as a direct sales resource for Pilz services and training within the assigned territory • Maintain and update the data contained within the Client Relations Management tool (CRM) • Provide reports to management including but not limited to Business reports, travel plans and objectives for the coming quarter • Complete quarterly reviews • Work with the National Channel Manager to develop the annual sales projections for distribution within the assigned territory • Report any changes in forecast and the reason for these changes in a timely manner • Maintain an accurate calendar including a 3-month rolling visit schedule • Complete and submit expense reports in a timely manner • Communicate cross territorial sales opportunities with the appropriate Pilz sales resource • Support members of the Key Account Management and Business Development teams • Other duties as assigned • Travel required 80% of the time
