Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer with specialized knowledge in the billing platform to boost Avid's e-commerce business by adopting cutting-edge solutions that improve D2C experience and increase Subscription user base. This individual will focus on eCommerce solution, platform services, and digital subscription lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will have capability to take ownership and possesses deep technical expertise in Salesforce development, hands-on experience with core Salesforce features, Billing Package, CPQ, Order management, Invoice jobs, and Asset management. - Design and development of scalable Salesforce billing platform services, optimize Invoice Jobs and integrations with Payment Gateway - Architect and implement solutions for Digital subscription lifecycle including Recurring billing, Renewals, upgrades, and cancellations - Proactively lead the effort to build and monitor Order processing, License provisioning, Asset creation and license deposit process flows - Build and optimize recurring modules to manage all Subscription plans including monthly, annual, and usage-based billing - Provide technical assistance to oversee Salesforce configuration, customization, and deployment activities - Collaborate with Product owners to capture requirements and translate into technical designs and best-practice architecture - Enhance integrations with ERP systems (NetSuite & RevPro) via middleware platform, Workato - Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, eCommerce, Marketing, Finance, ERP and Product owners to design, develop and deploy periodic releases - Participate in weekly release management of Salesforce config and customizations by leveraging CI/CD pipelines to ensure release integrity - Support and maintain existing applications and drive continuous improvement initiatives - Proactively monitor Recurring billing job performance, manage Subscription Renewal flows, data integrity across digital licensing platforms to ensure the platform is scalable and efficient Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience - 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, with at least 4+ years focused on implementing or enhancing Salesforce Billing Platform solutions - Experience with Triggers, Apex Classes, Batch Apex, Queueable, Future method, SOQL, LWC, Flows, REST APIs, Callouts, Platform Events, Data Modeling, Migration and exposure to CI/CD tools, GitHub - Working experience on Digital Licensing platforms is highly preferred - Deep technical proficiency with Billing and CPQ modules, Product Parent and variant architecture, Pricing, Promotions, Invoices and Life cycle Asset management - Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, Governor limits, and governance best practices - Experience with Platform integrations with ERP (e.g., NetSuite) and other external tools is desired - Excellent communication skills to lead conversations with Business owners, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and lead requirement sessions - Comfortable working in or overlapping with Eastern Time (New York/AMER) business hours Benefits - If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
