Senior Test Analyst
SysMap Solutions
• Establish and implement risk-based test strategies; • Develop, together with the team, Test Plans and Test Strategies based on analysis of the deliverables planned for a software development project; • Establish a Requirements vs. Tests Traceability Matrix; • Participate in conducting AS-IS analysis and defining TO-BE states; • Analyze and validate business requirements, ensuring the correct application of testing principles and techniques; • Create and maintain test cases using the BDD (Behavior Driven Development) standard; • Execute manual test cases, ensuring appropriate evidence collection to meet project needs; • Log and follow up on defects and failures identified during testing activities; • Monitor quality control policies and procedures; • Identify, analyze, propose, and implement solutions to quality issues by performing root cause analysis and preventing recurrence; • Analyze improvement opportunities to optimize quality processes and promote a delivery-quality mindset within the team; • Collect and analyze data to evaluate product performance against established quality standards; • Prepare reports covering key quality metrics such as defects, test coverage, quality risks, etc.; • Use test automation tools to optimize testing effort.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of testing fundamentals (techniques and strategies);
- Strong knowledge in defining quality entry and exit criteria (DoR/DoD);
- Strong knowledge of risk-based test strategies;
- Strong knowledge of different test types and levels;
- Requirements analysis: ability to interpret and validate software requirement specifications contained in a user story;
- Strong experience using BDD to create and update test cases, both functional and non-functional;
- Proficient in manual testing of REST/SOAP APIs using Postman;
- Proficient in manual testing of applications (apps);
- Proficient with issue/control platforms (Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Mantis);
- Agile methodologies – Scrum, Kanban;
- Experience preparing status reports.
- Nice to have:
- Experience in data validation and reconciliation across environments;
- Experience in system migrations;
- Experience with Oracle Retail and/or ERP/Supply Chain/Retail systems;
- Experience conducting/participating in AS-IS analysis and defining TO-BE states;
- Knowledge in building/maintaining a Traceability Matrix (Requirements-Tests);
- Understanding of retail business flows (inventory, pricing, supply, sales);
- Software quality certifications;
- Robot Framework and Python;
- Experience in a programming language (Python, Java, C#, Ruby, etc.);
- Experience in automated testing of REST and SOAP APIs;
- Experience with automation frameworks (Robot Framework, Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Requests/RestAssured, Sikuli, Espresso/XCUITest);
- Proficient with code versioning using Git.
