Director, Mail Order Pharmacy Distribution
CenterWell Senior Primary Care
• processes and dispenses or directly supports the processing and dispensing of Traditional and Over the Counter prescription orders to be mailed to patients' homes • handles complex and/or escalated issues • requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment • resolves problems related to drug interactions, dependencies, and department processes • analyzes distribution and supports pharmacists and pharmacy technicians • assists Pharmacists in medication preparation and dispensing directly or through program/process development • may contact physicians for prescription clarification and may enter prescription orders into pharmacy system • complies with all Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), federal, state, and company regulations, policies, and procedures • decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8 or more years of Mail Order Pharmacy or Manufacturing Experience required
- 5 or more years of management experience
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- May be required to have an active license with the Board of Pharmacy depending upon state rules and regulations.
- National Certification, PTCB CphT or Active Pharmacist License in Resident State (AZ, FL, OH, or TX)
- Six Sigma Certification
- Previous supervisory experience
