Role Description SkyPilot's power only matters if it's a joy to use. We're looking for a product engineer to lead full-stack, user-facing features across SkyPilot's open-source and commercial offerings — the dashboard, the CLI and the overall developer experience — owning them end to end and close to users. You own how SkyPilot feels to use, from a new user's first job to a power user's daily workflow. - Own user-facing features end to end: - the dashboard (cluster status, job logs, GPU utilization, quotas) - the CLI and YAML experience - Devspaces - onboarding - from ideation to shipping and iterating on user signals - Drive growth and delightful UX: - understand what makes features useful and sticky - own everything from frontend design to backend integration - Stay close to users: - run tight feedback loops with our open-source community and customers - turn what you hear into shipped improvements - fast Qualifications - Great product taste: an unusually good eye for delightful products, and a knack for making complex, technical products feel simple. - You've built full-stack product features — ideally SaaS / cloud platforms from zero to one — that real users depend on. - Familiar with best-in-class product tooling — e.g. NextJS, TypeScript, React, FastAPI, Python. - You move fast and close to users, with judgment for what to build and what to cut. - Experience with developer tools or a technical audience, a strong design sensibility, or open-source / building-in-public experience. • Own the end-to-end vulnerability management pipeline: asset discovery > scanning > enrichment > prioritization > assignment > verification > closure. • Build, codify, and iterate a data-driven prioritization framework (blending CVSS, EPSS, KEV, exploit availability, asset criticality, exposure/reachability, compensating controls, and business context). • Automate the full workflow via SOAR playbooks, webhooks, REST/GraphQL APIs, message queues, and custom scripts where needed. • Develop and improve KPIs, metrics, and trending for vulnerability management functions, and bring leadership attention to root-cause issues driving systemic vulnerability risk. • Integrate scanners, CMDB/asset inventory, EDR, cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP), and others into a single pipeline for management. • Continuously reduce noise: dedupe, suppress known-benign, correlate related findings, and auto-close on evidence of remediation. • Evaluate and integrate AI/LLM tooling for triage, false-positive suppression, remediation guidance, and vulnerability research — with appropriate guardrails. • Lead technical response for emergency patch cycles on various technical platforms.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain .NET applications and APIs using best practices. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in Agile ceremonies to deliver software that meets user requirements. • Utilize GitHub, Git, and Visual Studio for source control, CI/CD, and application development. • Ensure software quality through rigorous testing, debugging, documentation, and adherence to coding standards. • Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing software while demonstrating ownership and sound engineering practices. • Mentor teammates and promote security, reliability, scalability, and compliance in software solutions.

• Define and evolve architectural solutions that improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence. • Design and refine frameworks, tooling, and engineering standards that enhance system resilience and long-term maintainability. • Partner closely with Product, Infrastructure, and Platform teams to embed sound architectural principles into planning, design, and delivery. • Contribute hands-on to critical initiatives, including prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and production systems that demonstrate scalable, maintainable design. • Guide teams in adopting robust distributed system patterns, ensuring fault tolerance, observability, and operational maturity are built in from day one. • Provide thoughtful design reviews and technical guidance that raise the bar for engineering quality and consistency. • Collaborate with engineering leaders to align architectural decisions with business priorities and long-term platform strategy.
