Role Description We are looking for an Application Support specialist who can help us analyze and solve potential problems that might occur in the server infrastructure. As an Application Support specialist, you will have the opportunity to be part of a leading team of App Support specialists and work on projects that make an impact on business. The team is working in rotation on the following 3 shifts: - Morning shift 07:00-15:30 - Afternoon shift 11:30-20:00 - Night shift 18:30-03:00 Responsibilities - Ensure Infrastructure Availability - You'll be responsible for keeping the Pega application up and running across all environments, from development to production, supporting system reliability. - Manage and Optimize AWS Services - Ensure application availability and performance by addressing performance issues, ensuring service uptime and keeping all integrated and third-party services up to date and secure. - Coordinate and Execute Daily Deployments - Handle daily deployments across multiple environments, incorporating updates and fixes from the development team to keep systems stable and aligned with the latest code changes. - Troubleshoot and Resolve Incidents - When issues arise, you’ll investigate, identify root causes and implement fixes on a timely matter to restore service functionality. Collaborate closely with developers through incident reviews and task force meetings to prevent recurrence. - Support DevOps Best Practices - Use tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD to manage configuration and support a fast, reliable deployment workflow. - Monitor and Maintain System Health - Set up and maintain monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and PDC to track performance, detect issues early and support stability and scalability. Qualifications - A technical background, basic Linux knowledge, good client approach, willingness to learn. - Willingness to work in a 20/5 rotating shift schedule (day shifts, afternoon shifts and night shifts). - Experience using ticketing systems and a good comprehension of server infrastructure processes. - Very good communication skills and high attention to details. - Capable of recognizing problems and gathering information in order to solve them. - Strong analytical approach and reasoning skills needed to solve complex issues. - Proactivity, involvement and teamwork are also of great value. - Good English skills. - AWS, Kubernetes and GitHub knowledge is a plus. - Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate or reduce repetitive work, support decision-making, and deliver higher-quality outcomes. - Ability to use AI tools responsibly by structuring effective prompts, critically validating outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of the final result.
