• Lead end-to-end proposal development activities, including kickoff, scheduling, compliance management, content development, color team reviews, and final delivery. • Develop and execute win strategies aligned to business goals, increasing overall probability of win (Pwin). • Analyze and interpret solicitation documents (RFPs, RFIs, SOWs, PWS, CDRLs) to ensure compliance and inform proposal approach. • Partner with capture managers and leadership to shape competitive positioning and differentiated solutions. • Manage and coordinate cross-functional proposal teams, including writers, SMEs, technical contributors, pricing, and graphics. • Facilitate color team reviews and drive iterative improvements based on structured feedback. • Enhance proposal operations by refining templates, tools, and standard processes. • Ensure all submissions meet compliance standards, quality expectations, and strict deadlines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience managing federal proposals, with the DoD (Navy experience strongly preferred.)
- Demonstrated success leading large, complex, and competitive proposal efforts.
- Proven track record of managing and winning proposals valued at $50M+.
- Experience supporting multi-award contracts and GWACs.
- Strong knowledge of federal acquisition regulations, proposal compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Exceptional leadership, writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and lead teams under tight deadlines.
- Highly organized with strong time management and planning capabilities; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time as business needs arise.
