• Managing and retaining revenue for a territory's install base of accounts in North America. • Owning complete end-to-end Sales cycle. Involving in Pre-sales, Consulting and Account Management. • Developing an understanding of the Cloud Computing & Enterprise security & go-to-market initiatives. • Championing Akamai's Cloud Computing vision and value proposition with Customers. • Working with National Channel Partners to establish new opportunities within install base.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of end-to-end B2B sales experience in Cloud Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, or Enterprise Software solutions with a strong focus on the North American Enterprise market.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a portfolio of SMB and Mid-Market accounts, consistently delivering 10%+ annual revenue growth across an assigned install base through renewals, cross-sell, and upsell initiatives.
  • Understanding of modern cloud technologies and enterprise security solutions, with the ability to articulate business value and align technology solutions to customer needs.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining a 3x qualified sales pipeline by collaborating effectively with channel partners, internal stakeholders, and direct customer engagement.
  • Experience managing the complete sales lifecycle, including prospecting, opportunity qualification, solution positioning, commercial negotiations, forecasting, and deal closure.
  • Effective consultative selling, account planning, and relationship management skills with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders within customer organizations.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to technical and business decision-makers.
  • Experience selling cloud platforms, networking, cybersecurity, or SaaS solutions. Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies e.g., MEDDICC. Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce for pipeline management and forecasting.
