Senior Supply Chain Manager
Divert
• Own end-to-end execution of industrial service orders from receipt and validation through scheduling, transportation coordination, plant processing, and final disposal confirmation • Validate material acceptance against plant capabilities, operational constraints, customer requirements, and available capacity; ensure all required information is in place before committing to execution • Determine transportation approach for each service order prioritize Divert fleet assets and escalate to third-party logistics providers when capacity, timing, or cost makes that the better path; work from the vetted 3PL vendor pool to obtain quotes, confirm availability, and select the best option, owning cost discipline in that decision • Maintain and communicate a holistic, real-time view of the industrial schedule across Divert facilities managing inbound timing, plant capacity, and day-of changes with accuracy and accountability • Serve as the primary operational contact for customers throughout execution, coordinating pickup logistics, communicating status, resolving issues, and managing changes with professionalism and urgency • Coordinate closely with Plant Operations and Transportation teams to navigate schedule disruptions, routing adjustments, and capacity constraints as they arise • Make routing and outlet decisions in real time using approved disposal pathways, cost-per-ton, and operational constraints identifying the best available path when the planned one is unavailable • Capture and track all execution costs, transportation costs, and operational data to support reporting, trend analysis, and P&L visibility; monitor performance against operational budgets and profitability targets • Drive development of scheduling tools, reporting processes, and operational analytics identifying manual workflows that consume time and capacity, defining requirements, and actively partnering on system improvements that unlock efficiency and cost performance • Identify continuous improvement opportunities across scheduling, transportation coordination, data management, and execution workflows, translating operational experience into scalable processes that support the growth of Divert's industrial platform
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree with Business or Operational focus
- 5+ years experience in a transportation / logistics role
- Proficient with TMS and analytic systems (TMS, WMS, ERP or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze data to drive improvements
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, safety practices and compliance programs
- Experience managing budgets and influencing outcomes
- Excellent communication, collaboration and change management skills
