Senior Associate Architect, SAP Security and Threat Mitigation Location: Mexico (Remote) Mexico City Work Arrangement: Fully Remote Employment Type: Full-time We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Associate Architect, SAP Security & Threat Mitigation to join our organization. This pivotal role will report directly to the Sr. Director, Threat Intelligence and Client Security Services. Qualified candidates can work remotely, preferred location is Mexico City, other locations in Mexico may be considered. Position Summary The Sr. Associate Architect, SAP Security & Threat Mitigation will support the Rimini Protect! Security Services team to research threats, vulnerabilities, and weaknesses that affect the products and services supported and delivered by Rimini Street. The Sr. Associate Architect, SAP Security & Threat Mitigation will work with the Rimini Protect team to research the applicability of reported Vulnerabilities to understand the weaknesses and exposures, determine applicable mitigations, and assist in the documentation of those mitigations. The Sr. Associate Architect, SAP Security & Threat Mitigation will also write document and recommend work arounds and mitigations to assist in the development of new solutions and security controls that will be utilized by Rimini Street clients to proactively address vulnerabilities from a 0-day context as well as our regularly schedule Security Vulnerability Analysis Report (SVAR). In addition to those activities, they will be closely work with the Client Success Managers (CSM) to conduct, review and make recommendations in the process of conducting a Security Audit for the customer’s ERP solution and Database environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Ability to research security vulnerabilities and their underlying weaknesses. - Provide support to Product Support Engineer (PSE) for cases opened by the customers that are dealing with Security Vulnerabilities. - Bring clarity to diverse datasets of information, providing reporting for executive ingestion and decision making. - Review, suggest, and implement improvements for security practices. - Assist in the implementation, and evaluation of security-focused tools and services (understand tools and capabilities). - Stay current on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and controls. - Provide critical feedback to security solution providers and guidance in the development of product enhancements and features. - Other job-related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time. - Conduct Security Assessments for Customers and Prospects, covering variety of ERP environments - Evangelize security and be an advocate for customer trust. Education & Certification - At a minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent experience. - Candidates with Security Certification are preferred and will begiven a higher priority then those without. Experience - 2-5 years of progressive information security responsibility and experience. - Exposure to common industry and regulatory standards - ISO, NIST, SOX, PCI, Privacy Shield. - Highly technical and hands-on is a must. - Extensive project related experience. - Strong knowledge in current security threats, trends and mitigations. - Experience in design and delivery of enterprise-level security controls. - Experience in performing audits and reviews of ERP systems - SAP Basis Experience along with UCON, T-Code understanding, creating authorizations Qualifications & Skills - Ethical with highest standards of integrity. - Ability to think critically and make clear, responsible and well-reasoned decisions. - Passionate focus on customer support and the ability to build long term, successful working relationships with Clients. - Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills – verbal & written. - Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly. - Extreme focus on Client satisfaction. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Ability to work calmly and professionally in high pressure, high stress situations. - Well-developed presentation and communication skills; effective working with clients. - Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English - Threat hunting and mitigation. - Ability to develop relationships based on trust, confidence and respect with customers and colleagues. - Ability to multi-task multiple issues and tasks. - Ability to scale with a rapidly growing business including addition of products and countries. - Willingness to work off hours for short periods when required (i.e. Working a ZeroDay event) Desired Skills - Open-Source security solutions (any of the following): Burpe Suite, Kali Linux, Metasploit, Web Goat, Horizon3.ai, Feedly, AI tools like Copilot - Firewall Experience - WAF Experience - Securing (Hardening): Java JRE and JVM’s; Apache, experience in patching a plus; NetWeaver; Web Dispatcher - Database Experience: Oracle; MSSQL; HANA - Application Experience a plus in at least 1 ERP System from the following: SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP ERP), SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM), SAP Supply Chain Management (SAP SCM), SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM), - Tool Experience at least 1 of the following: SAP MMC (Microsoft Management Console), SAP HANA cockpit, SAP PFCG Location - Remote – Mexico City Our work is challenging and meaningful.
