QA Engineer

• Develop test strategies, plans, test cases, and engineering best practices related to software test engineering. • Support data governance and data profiling efforts to ensure data quality and proper metadata documentation for data lineage. • Implement and execute test strategies on all supported platforms to help improve the overall quality and test coverage. • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineers to understand requirements, translate them into test cases, and determine product quality goals and measurements. • Reproduce, isolate, and debug issues, providing detailed bug reports. • Validate the collected data from disparate systems. • Identify edge cases that can potentially break or compromise data quality or integrity. • Collaborate with the Automation Engineers to understand the test case requirements to create comprehensive test automation projects. • Detecting bugs and executing tests. • Works independently on assigned tasks/projects. • Follows the established test plan. • Automation: Writes and maintains scripts for existing frameworks.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the QA field.
- Experience with GitHub.
- Experience writing tests and creating collections in Postman.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Jira or other Kanban board-style software.
- Experience in testing web-based applications.
- Experience using Chrome DevTools for inspecting browser errors and issues.
- Prior remote work-from-home experience in a QA role.
- You have an advantage if you have: 1+ years of current experience with WebdriverIO.
- Hands-on experience with AWS CodeBuild and CodePipeline.
- Prior work in a SaaS company.
