BI Developer – Dashboard, Federal Health

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and business intelligence solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms. • Develop reports that provide real-time visibility into project performance, operational metrics, financial data, and implementation progress. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and dashboard functionality. • Create SQL queries, data models, and reporting datasets supporting enterprise reporting initiatives. • Ensure dashboard accuracy by validating data sources, business rules, and reporting calculations. • Optimize dashboard performance and usability to improve the end-user experience. • Partner with the Data / Reporting Architect to implement enterprise reporting standards and best practices. • Develop technical documentation, user guides, and reporting specifications supporting dashboard maintenance. • Support executive briefings by developing visual reporting products and presentation materials. • Recommend continuous improvements that enhance reporting automation, data visualization, and business intelligence capabilities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience developing business intelligence dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence and visualization platforms.
  • Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
  • Experience developing executive dashboards, scorecards, and operational reporting solutions.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and enterprise reporting best practices.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or similar enterprise data platforms is preferred.
  • Experience supporting VA, VHA, DHA, or other Federal healthcare organizations, health IT, telehealth, or Federal program management is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Level 3 Public Trust clearance.
