Role Description As the Senior-most Product Marketer in the Marketing organization, you will own the narrative around Alight’s product offerings for our audiences - crafting and sharing our solutions story in the most engaging, persuasive way possible. Your expertise in marketing solutions to buyers will shine as you collaborate across Sales, Growth Marketing, and Product Management teams to drive an integrated GTM strategy and differentiated narrative for buyers and influencers. You will serve as the SME on the challenges, value drivers, and buying journey for the audience - responsible for crafting high-impact messaging, positioning, and content, identifying priority use cases where we have a right to win, defining cross-functional go-to-market sales plays, enabling our field teams with vital content and tools, and building customer-facing assets that contribute to a strong pipeline for our solutions. As a trusted advisor, you'll provide our field teams with the insights and resources needed to close deals and expand within existing accounts. Responsibilities - Plan and execute product launches and consult on campaigns that drive awareness, adoption, and retention of the products. - Support sales enablement and customer success by providing them with the necessary tools, materials, and training to sell and support the products. - Study and share customer insights, feedback, and testimonials gathered in NPS, CSAT and other research with the product and marketing teams. - Develop and implement the go-to-market strategy, creating and delivering the launch plan, and coordinating with other marketing teams. - Measure and analyze the effectiveness and ROI of the product launches and campaigns, and optimize them based on data and feedback. - Lead the creation of differentiated positioning, high-impact messaging, and customer-facing content. - Partner with Sales Operations and Demand/Growth Marketing to design and execute go-to-market sales plays. - Lead and support talented Product Marketing Managers (PMMs). - Hire, train, mentor, and motivate the product marketers. - Act as a strategic partner to Sales and Enablement by developing the playbooks, training, and tools necessary. - Serve as the primary SME on the buyer personas, uncovering deep customer insights and market trends. - Allocate resources, budgets, and timelines for the product marketing projects. - Monitor and evaluate the results and impact of the product marketing activities. - Lead the process to curate and evolve buyer personas and journey maps. - Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify industry trends. - Leverage customer feedback and reviews to understand customer satisfaction levels. - Craft compelling product messaging to communicate product value and differentiation effectively. - Measure and report on marketing performance to monitor the effectiveness of marketing strategies. - Attend and speak at relevant events, conferences, and webinars. - Benchmark the product performance and positioning against competitors and industry standards. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred. - Experience in health technology, benefits administration, BPO, or professional services. - 15+ years of proven, progressive record of success in product/solution marketing. - Demonstrated ability to own and drive enterprise-level product strategies. - Proven experience managing large-scale programs with accountability for ROI. - Deep expertise in modern product marketing techniques. - Solid track record of building and scaling B2B and B2B2C product/solution marketing. - Demonstrated ability to operate with decision authority in complex organizations. - Proven ability to partner across sales, product, finance, and technology functions. - Exceptional leadership capability with experience building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams. - Superior communication, executive presence, and influencing skills.
