Strategic Account Executive
C&C Search
• Build and manage a strategic pipeline of K-12 district opportunities across an assigned book of business. • Lead discovery, qualification, and consultative sales conversations with district stakeholders, including technology, curriculum, finance, and executive leadership. • Position Clever’s platform and solutions across identity, security, access, interoperability, MFA, IDM, and related district priorities. • Develop and execute account strategies that move opportunities through the sales cycle with clear next steps, stakeholder alignment, and strong forecast discipline. • Partner closely with School Success to identify expansion, cross-sell, and long-term growth opportunities within district relationships. • Collaborate with Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Revenue Operations to support strategic opportunities and improve sales execution. • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and opportunity records in Salesforce. • Represent Clever professionally in customer meetings, conferences, webinars, and strategic district conversations.
Job Requirements
- Experience selling SaaS, technology, or education solutions into K-12 districts or similarly complex public-sector environments.
- Strong consultative selling skills, including discovery, stakeholder mapping, executive engagement, and value-based positioning.
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple decision-makers and procurement considerations.
- Strong business judgment, pipeline discipline, and comfort owning revenue targets.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to translate technical value into customer outcomes.
- Collaborative approach with a track record of working effectively across Sales, Success, Marketing, Product, and Operations.
- High ownership, resilience, curiosity, and a customer-first mindset.
- Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel up to 50% of the time during peak sales and conference seasons, including occasional weekends.
