Role Description The Project Manager III – HR IT manages HR technology projects from planning through implementation and transition to support. The role works closely with HR, IT, business teams, and external partners, with a primary focus on Oracle Fusion HCM and related applications. - Manage HR technology projects throughout the project lifecycle. - Define project scope, deliverables, schedules, resources, and success measures. - Work directly with assigned team members to plan and implement solutions, assign and prioritize project activities, clarify expected outcomes, and follow up on delivery. - Provide day-to-day project direction while escalating resource constraints, performance concerns, and decisions outside the agreed project scope to the appropriate manager. - Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, risk logs, and decision records. - Coordinate activities across HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, Information Security, vendors, and other stakeholders. - Support Oracle Fusion HCM implementations, enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and process-improvement initiatives. - Facilitate project meetings and communicate progress, risks, issues, and decisions to stakeholders. - Monitor project dependencies and resolve or escalate issues as appropriate. - Coordinate requirements gathering, testing, implementation readiness, and post-launch support. - Partner with business teams on communications, training, and user adoption. - Help ensure projects follow applicable security, privacy, compliance, and project-governance requirements. - Manage vendor activities and project budgets where applicable. - Contribute to improvements in project-management tools, templates, and practices. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Approximately five years of project-management experience, preferably involving business or enterprise technology projects. - Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and providing day-to-day direction to project team members. - Experience managing project scope, schedules, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations. - Strong organizational, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with both business and technical teams. - Working knowledge of standard project-management methods and tools. Requirements - Experience supporting Oracle Fusion HCM or another enterprise HR system. - Familiarity with HR processes such as core HR, recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, compensation, performance, or learning. - Experience with system implementations, integrations, upgrades, data migration, or user-acceptance testing. - Experience working with external technology or implementation partners. - Knowledge of Jira for project planning, work tracking, reporting, and team collaboration. - Project-management certification, such as PMP, or Agile experience.
