Role Description The Transformation Project Manager is responsible for supporting PMO activities for a large-scale enterprise oil and gas company. This includes: - Maintaining PMO artifacts, program documentation, stakeholder updates, readiness activities, training, communications, cutover planning, and tracking. - Working proactively across multiple project owners and stakeholders to collect status updates, flag overdue actions and emerging tasks, manage follow-ups, and support existing Project and Program Managers with organized, timely, and accurate project coordination. This project management support role provides growth opportunity in the project management field. This is a long-term, remote role working in MT and CT time zones. Candidates must be fully authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship or transfer. Qualifications - 3-5 years of project management experience in professional, enterprise organizations. - Industry experience, highly preferred, in oil and gas or similar power/energy environments. - Exposure working within a PMO (Project Management Office) is needed. - Must have proficient experience with Smartsheet, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills. - Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders and project owners to obtain status updates. - Good judgment with prioritizing competing needs and managing escalations. - Ability to move quickly, obtain information, and work proactively. - Experience developing and maintaining relationships with multiple stakeholders in support of Project and Program Managers. - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a similar quantitative discipline required. Role Description TriNetX is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and govern a growing portfolio of projects funded by the European Commission (Horizon Europe, Horizon 2020), IMI/IHI, and other regulatory or public-sector funding bodies. This individual will serve as the primary operational owner for funded project delivery, ensuring compliance with grant agreements, maintaining funder relationships, driving cross-functional execution, and protecting both scientific and commercial commitments across multi-year programmes. The role sits within the Client Delivery Project Management Office (cPMO) and partners closely with Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams. What You Will Be Doing - Portfolio Governance & Delivery: - Own end-to-end delivery of an assigned portfolio of EU Commission and regulatory-funded projects, from kick-off through final reporting and closeout. - Develop and maintain integrated project plans, work breakdown structures, milestone schedules, and risk registers across concurrent projects. - Apply the Project Monitoring & Controlling SOP and RYG status frameworks to track progress, surface variances early, and drive corrective action. - Coordinate internal workstreams and client-facing teams to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery. - Grant Compliance & Funder Management: - Ensure full compliance with EU grant regulations including EC Grant Agreements, General Conditions, and applicable Financial Regulations (e.g., H2020/Horizon Europe rules for participation). - Oversee preparation and submission of periodic technical and financial reports to the European Commission and other funding bodies. - Serve as the primary point of contact for Project Officers, coordinators, and external auditors; manage responses to audit queries. - Monitor eligible expenditure, track budget consumption against approved work packages, and flag deviations in coordination with Finance. - Support DCAA/FAR Part 31 or equivalent cost accounting requirements where applicable to sub-award or transatlantic funding structures. - Consortium & Stakeholder Coordination: - Manage relationships with consortium partners including academic institutions, hospitals, SMEs, and other industry stakeholders across EU member states. - Facilitate Consortium Board and General Assembly meetings as needed; prepare and distribute minutes, action logs, and governance documentation. - Negotiate scope and timeline adjustments with partners and funders through formal amendment processes (e.g., Grant Agreement Amendments). - Represent TriNetX at funder review meetings, project review boards, and relevant EU-funded events. - Commercial & Financial Oversight: - Manage project-level budgets and margin targets; ensure revenue recognition is aligned with project milestones and deliverable acceptance. - Partner with Finance to maintain accurate cost forecasting and margin tracking across the funded portfolio. - Identify and escalate scope creep, budget risk, or eligibility concerns before they impact financial performance or funder compliance. - Support proposal and bid processes for new EU or regulatory-funded opportunities, including budget development and staffing models. - Process Improvement & AI Integration: - Champion the adoption of AI-assisted project management tools and workflows within the cPMO to drive efficiency and quality. - Contribute to the development of scalable PMO frameworks, templates, and reporting standards applicable across funded and commercial projects. - Mentor junior project managers and analysts; foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. - Tools and Systems: - Utilize systems such as Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, Slack, Zoom, SharePoint, Salesforce, Certinia/FinancialForce.
