This position leads value propositions, implementations, and expansions for enterprise customers in close collaboration with the Solutions Architect (PreSales) team. - Propose and sell products, solutions, consulting, and technical support centered around TiDB for enterprise customers in telecommunications, retail, and manufacturing. - Develop new customers and create opportunities in collaboration with the Solutions Architect team. - Lead and close large deals considering industry-specific business practices and decision-making processes. - Coordinate with internal departments to address customer needs and manage adjustments and escalations during issues. - Foster a customer success culture through collaboration within the team. - Build the foundation and processes for the enterprise sales team in anticipation of future business expansion. Qualifications - 3+ years of sales experience in the IT industry or related fields (experience proposing to enterprise customers in telecommunications, retail, and manufacturing is a plus). - Experience with cloud, databases, or related IT products. - Positive attitude towards building sales operations and playbooks from scratch. Requirements - Possess a customer base or network in telecommunications, retail, or manufacturing industries. - Sales experience in open-source technology companies or cloud service companies (AWS / Azure / GCP, etc.). - Technical background with the ability to deeply engage with customer challenges and propose solutions. - Experience in a startup environment or enjoyment of dynamic work settings. - Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
