Electronic Service Technician

• Service and support existing customers by responding to service calls • Carry out Customer Support Programs and small projects business • Use solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software • Analyze repair requirements and provides customer with appropriate solutions • Complete necessary repairs and replacements as needed • May provide custom systems integrations, detailed systems upgrade planning and execution, systems audits and consultation, and/or database management and manipulation • Execute all service calls in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations as well as company health and safety policies and procedures • Work closely with other specialists to cross-train on servicing existing customers
Job Requirements
- High School/GED or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years servicing, integrating, and programming video, alarm and access control systems
- Specific product experience a plus but not required.
- Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure
- Solid technical skills and/or experience related to electronic security systems
- Some programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions
- Must be a self-starter and work well with direct supervision
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel locally to jobsites on a regular basis

• Safely handle, position and process metal parts to perform various welding functions, including clamping and aligning different sheet metal parts, and high-precision TIG/MIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and steel sheet metal components (primarily 10–22 gauge), to complete the work orders assigned to them. • Review technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders with the lead and understand material requirements, welding specifications, delivery sequences, assigned location, and any required protection of critical parts. • Set up, align, and secure parts using jigs, fixtures, and clamps to ensure accurate tolerance. • Produce clean welds with minimal distortion, allowing for efficient polishing, grinding, and finishing in our polishing area (by others) to ensure smooth, high-quality, aesthetically pleasing joints. • Visually inspect welds and use measuring tools to ensure parts meet client requirements and company standards. • Protect finishing of parts, sub-assemblies or units before and after the welding operation by using film, foam, corrugate or other materials in addition to exercising general caution or care. • Work with Sr. Welders, Grinding & Polishing Technicians, Leads, or Supervisors to make sure equipment and orders are completed in a timely manner and take lead on tasks when working with Assistant Welding Technicians and help mentor or train. • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment (e.g., MIG guns, TIG torches) to maintain optimal performance. • Keep welding booths/areas clean, tidy and organized and continuously informs his Lead of completed activities, and any problems encountered. • Actively work with Safety Committee personnel to identify and eliminate possible safety hazards. • Adheres strictly to all company safety protocols and health regulations, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and follow the 5S program to maintain a safe and organized work environment. • Maintain accurate production records, including part counts, scrap rates, and completed job forms.
