• Service and support existing customers by responding to service calls • Carry out Customer Support Programs and small projects business • Use solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software • Analyze repair requirements and provides customer with appropriate solutions • Complete necessary repairs and replacements as needed • May provide custom systems integrations, detailed systems upgrade planning and execution, systems audits and consultation, and/or database management and manipulation • Execute all service calls in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations as well as company health and safety policies and procedures • Work closely with other specialists to cross-train on servicing existing customers

• Responsible for BIM support as part of Design Consulting and Design Build projects • Partner with Solution Architects and Project Designers • Produce security installation drawings such as floor plans, riser diagrams, details, and schedules • Develop the Information Model using Autodesk Revit • Work with customer provided REVIT files to prepare security systems installation drawings • Create additional BIM Objects (Revit Families) as needed • Produce Project Deliverables from the information Model • Adjust BIM models as directed by the customer • Create and collect various 2D drawings to be inserted in the BIM model • Ensure all elements of the Information Model are fully coordinated • Maintain organized project files, model versions, drawing records, and documentation • Review drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and consistency • Submit Information for approval in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) • Follow BIM execution plans, CAD/BIM standards, naming conventions, and quality control procedures • Run interference/clash detection to detect design clashes • Assist in developing and maintaining project models according to company standards • Escalate any coordination issues to the lead project designer • Attend weekly meetings and submit updates to lead designer • Perform "self checking" within the information Model

Role Description Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking CAD/BIM Operator to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will prepare system installation drawings from engineered documentation for construction or permit. As a CAD/BIM Operator, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows. What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience” - Work with the customer provided AutoCAD/REVIT files to prepare security systems installation drawings to meet the contract documentation (specification and contract drawings) requirements and as instructed by the lead designer. - Run interference/clash detection to detect design clashes to assist project team with coordination process. - Attend weekly meetings and submit updates to Lead Designer. - Adjust BIM models as directed by the customer and track changes to coordinate with the project manager for change order pricing if required. - Create, collect various 2D drawings as needed to be inserted in the BIM model. - Manage 3D models for design coordination and submission for approval by the customer. - Creation of additional BIM Objects (Revit Families) as needed. - Assist the project team with model visualizations. - Provide project team with updated construction drawings as change orders are released by the customer. - Manage and use BIM modeling software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, NavisWorks). - Manage and use coordination, scheduling, programming, file sharing and collaboration platforms. - Update model as required by the change orders released by the customer. - Correspond regularly with the customer and other subcontractors. - Work directly with the project managers to obtain data sheets on submitted equipment for modeling and submit RFI’s as needed. - Obtain electronic files as needed for model coordination. - Update drawing set as change orders are approved and released for construction. - Prepares system as-built drawings from onsite drawing mark-ups under minimal supervision of the Lead Designer. - Assembles drawing package sets and data sheets for submittal or permit; works on moderate to complex drawing package sets and data sheets. - Assembles operations and maintenance manuals and system documentations. - Reviews own drawings for quality and accuracy. May review drawings from less experienced colleagues. - Prints, runs copies, distributes shop drawings/close-out documents to different departments/clients as necessary. - Completes assign drawings on time and on budget. May oversee less experienced AutoCAD/BIM Operators in timely completion of drawings. - Assists colleagues with drafting support as requested or required. - Organizes/maintains project folders and drawings. - Updates project schedule daily. - Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. Qualifications - Strong knowledge/expertise in latest version of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks. - Advanced skills level in reading and understanding architectural and electrical layouts and diagrams. - Advanced knowledge of electrical/electronic theory and components. - Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted. - Advance technical skills and experience related to security systems. - Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong computer skills including MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel). Requirements - Education Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. - Experience Requirements: Minimum of seven years of previous AutoCAD/BIM experience required. - Minimum of five years’ experience in the electronic security industry. - Certifications & Licenses: Computer-Aided Drafting Certificate required. - Revit for Architectural Design Professional Certification required. - Associate of Applied Science Degree (A.A.S) preferred. • Manages all aspects of assigned projects (typically valued up to $1M) from award through completion, including site management, budgeting, scheduling, and execution • Serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle • Collaborates with local Convergint Project Managers, Customers, and Program Managers to align on project goals and support execution • Develops and manages project installation plans in coordination with local teams • Maintains accurate records of job status, material flow, change orders, and other documentation • Identifies project risks and implements strategies to mitigate them • Partners with technical subject matter experts to create necessary project documentation, including runbooks and execution plans • Oversees project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning • Regularly communicates project progress, schedules, and changes to stakeholders

In this role, you will work with the sales and operations teams to provide purchasing assistance during the estimating, design, construction, and as-built stages of projects. As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will be part of a dynamic team that will enable you to grow as Convergint grows. What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience” - Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to issued Bill of Materials; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives due to cost or lead time issues. - Utilizes available inventory items or surplus material by verifying stock availability with Logistics. - As a back up to the Purchasing Lead, prepares and issues purchase orders when directed. - Creates and manages online databases of materials ordered, received, and delivered. - Obtains quotes and negotiates costs with vendors to meet margin goals. - Pursues and obtains shipping estimates and tracking information for material purchases. - Prioritizes order requests based on commitment schedules. Adjusts priorities as required. - Verifies receipt of items compared to items ordered; resolves shipping errors or damages with suppliers. - Manages Return Material Authorizations for repair, replacement, or credit. - Authorizes payment for purchases by comparing items received to items ordered. - Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents on company intranet. - Provides purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. - Tracks orders to ensure consistency with commitment dates. - Ensures product is delivered to the appropriate parties as requested. - Communicates professionally, persuasively, and personably with vendors and clients via phone and email. - Performs product research when necessary. - Performs other duties as requested or required.
