Role Description - Manually verify physician licenses using official state medical board and government regulatory websites. - Access national license index databases and relevant authority databases to cross-reference physician information. - Confirm that each physician’s license is active, valid, unrestricted, and appropriate for the state in which they intend to practice. - Verify whether physicians are authorized to prescribe in the states they claim to serve. - Review physician information submitted during onboarding and identify discrepancies, restrictions, disciplinary actions, expirations, or missing details. - Document verification results accurately within the company’s digital prescribing platform. - Provide physicians and internal teams with verification feedback within one hour during designated business hours. - Escalate questionable, incomplete, or potentially invalid credentials to the appropriate compliance team. - Maintain accurate records and audit trails of all verification activities. - Protect physician and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company confidentiality requirements. - Work independently and communicate effectively in an asynchronous remote environment. Qualifications - At least one year of experience in medical credentialing, provider enrollment, physician licensing, healthcare compliance, or a related healthcare administrative role. - Experience researching and verifying information through state medical boards, government websites, or regulatory databases. - Familiarity with physician license status, expiration dates, restrictions, disciplinary actions, and prescribing eligibility. - Strong understanding of HIPAA, patient confidentiality, and secure handling of sensitive information. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies across multiple sources. - Strong written English communication skills. - Ability to meet a one-hour turnaround time during working hours. - Reliable computer, stable internet connection, and ability to access U.S. government and state regulatory websites. - Comfortable using VPN or other approved secure-access tools when required. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high productivity and accuracy. • Review and analyze title commitments for irregularities. Determine solutions for irregularities and act on determination to resolve. • Work with available resources to resolve any title related issues. • Review and grade title reports. • Provide exceptional customer service. • Provide accurate and timely communication of all updates, details, etc. to all parties involved in the transaction. • Data entry into multiple technology platforms. • Responsible for completing title claim packages for submission. • Monitor status of submitted claims and resolution with title retained, foreclosure or outside counsel. • Ability to recognize, mitigate and escalate potential losses as they arise. Prepare and maintain accurate reporting of all title defects and their status. • Timely completion of all required work functions including task queue, updating, follow up, etc. • Prepare documents such as subordination agreements, affidavits, lien releases, etc. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - 8+ years experience of performing MS-DRG and ARP-DRG reviews for a Payment Integrity vendor or Payer. - 2-3 years of supervisory/management experience, including supervising and training in a remote work environment. - CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) credential highly preferred. - RHIA, or RHIT credential, Associate's Degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or related field preferred. - Preference for candidates holding both a coding credential and an HIM credential (RHIA/RHIT). - Requires advanced expertise in ICD-10-CM/PCS coding and the ability to exercise discretion and professional judgment in assessing complex clinical information, validating diagnosis code assignments, and identifying discrepancies such as coding errors or upcoding. - Prepares clear, concise, and well-supported audit findings, referencing authoritative sources such as AHA Coding Clinic and ICD-10 guidelines, ensuring recommendations reflect professional expertise. - Experience using CMS NCDs/LCDs and clinical criteria guidelines. - Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high performance. - Consistently meets or exceeds established quality and productivity standards while managing priorities and workflow autonomously. - Passion for DRG auditing and a commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail. - Inpatient audits experience for case rate and per diem. - Preference for candidates with outpatient and professional claims auditing experience. - Experience working in a start-up or high-growth company environment, demonstrating agility and adaptability. - Familiarity with working with a diverse, global team of talent. - Excellent computer skills and familiarity with a Mac.
