• Provide highly visible customer support through on-site installation, diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems • Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system • Engage with customers to understand their analytical workflows and tailor service offerings, including training, support, and upgrades • Maintain assigned assets, including tools, test equipment, telecommunication equipment, and service parts inventory • Enhance PerkinElmer’s product quality by proactively reporting improvement opportunities
Job Requirements
- BA Bachelor Degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline including military experience plus 3 years direct experience with repair of laboratory equipment OR Associate Degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline including military experience plus 5 years direct experience with repair of laboratory equipment OR High School Diploma plus 7+ years direct experience with repair of laboratory equipment
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate information clearly and accurately
- Technical critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Outstanding customer service skills complemented by an ability to listen to and interpret client requests
- Aptitude for technical and practical matters
- MS Office skills: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
- Excellent team player with a customer satisfaction focus
- Valid driver’s license and safe motor vehicle operation

• Respond to technical service calls for maintenance and installation, providing complete resolution of complex, multi-symptom issues on medical imaging equipment • Serve as the daily interface with physicians and technicians regarding equipment status • Work to ensure customer satisfaction • Provide assistance during account sales visits • Collaborate on the team’s technical development • Identify sales opportunities and communicate them to the account team • Ensure completion of service order reports • Maintain effective quality systems and programs in accordance with GE HealthCare Service Quality and EHS policies
