• Support business development, contracting, and acquisition planning initiatives in the defense and national security market. • Assist with market and customer research, opportunity analysis, acquisition timelines, contract-vehicle assessments, proposal development, and strategic briefings. • Help transform complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
Job Requirements
- Military, government, academic, or professional experience supporting complex planning, analysis, coordination, or program activities.
- Foundational familiarity with Department of Defense missions, organizations, requirements, acquisition, contracting, or program-management processes.
- Demonstrated ability to research complex topics, evaluate information from multiple sources, and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing briefings, reports, plans, or decision-support materials.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote, fast-moving, mission-focused team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the willingness to learn additional business-development and research tools.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive, proprietary, or mission-related information.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, including meeting applicable citizenship requirements.

• Performs coordination for all acquisition efforts assigned • Oversight of staff assignments including scheduling, reports, and reviews • Develop and prioritize a schedule for projects in consultation with Project Managers, Flight Operations Manager, Director of Flight Operations and Director of Maintenance • Schedule assets to cover the production schedule • Mission planning includes reviewing job specifications, weather interpretation, ground support coordination, onsite project coordination and client coordination • Work daily with all Flight Department staff to determine mission priorities • Maintain operational control of the aircraft monitoring mission plan, departure, and arrival times • Maintain project management software as it relates to acquisition efforts • Responsible for notification of project status or completion to Account Managers, Project Managers and Director of Data Aerial Operations • Create flight plans and develop project plans in support of estimating • Create and update Project Tracking documents and Flight Backlog • Establish minimum employment qualifications, hiring procedures, salary structure, performance appraisal procedures, grade structure and dismissal procedures with HR support • Manage human resources for direct team including headcount, hiring, and training compliance • Maintain high morale through awareness of company policies, employee development programs, and departmental goals and objectives • Acquire data as a crew member as schedule permits to stay current with technology • Advise management on status and requirements for current and future aircraft and sensor solutions • Ensure high levels of customer service to the company and its customers • Establish and maintain partner and vendor relationships that meet NV5 standards • Develop and maintain a corporate culture emphasizing safety as a core value
