Job Description

Recording Document Specialist

Old Republic Title

• Examine real estate documents to ensure compliance with county-specific requirements and government codes • Leverage online county indexes to gather and verify critical information • Be the first point of contact for client inquiries, providing expert guidance and timely resolutions • Manage document modifications, track communications, and handle basic accounting and fee reconciliation for daily submissions • Share your industry expertise by providing training and support to colleagues

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of real estate recording experience
  • Familiarity with real estate documents, title insurance, or escrow functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and management
  • The ability to prioritize, handle high volumes of work, and meet tight deadlines with precision
  • A personable, positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Dependability and the ability to maintain consistent attendance
  • Flexibility to work a scheduled time between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed
