Role Description Ellucian Professional Services in Latin America is looking for a Senior Project Manager who will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects within an organization, from the initial ideation through to completion. They coordinate people and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives. - Ensures that projects are completed on time and according to corporate, client, or customer quality standards. - Facilitates communications upward and across project team including project status, justifications for variances, recommendations for major changes, and technical information (architecture, design, and implementation objectives). - Serves as focal point for client and customers, and other departments on projects status and other project information. - Organizes project through the development of a project plan, which includes communication of goals, as defined by the user, definition of project strategy, identification of the roles and responsibilities of key project groups, and development of a schedule with key milestones, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of project resources. - Ensures projects are completed according to specifications and are properly documented including implementation of the product, system or service satisfies the specifications, and product, system or service architecture and implementation is maintainable and extensible to accommodate future enhancements and maintenance. Qualifications - 5+ years related work experience, including 3 years as Lead Programmer Analyst, Project Leader, or Supervisor in a Technology area. - Experience in Complex ERP implementations in a Project Manager Role or Senior Consultant. - The position requires an Intermediate-High level of English proficiency. - Desirable: Certified in PMI or demonstrable experience using the methodology. - Desirable: Experience with Banner Student Suite or other ERP in the market.
