• Owning end-to-end delivery of large, complex projects that align to organizational objectives and client business outcomes • This role will be accountable for scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, issues, dependencies, change management, and baseline control • Working with client and internal stakeholders to establish clear ownership, decision rights, communications cadence, project goals, success criteria, and priority trade-offs • Facilitating risk, issue, and dependency management with proactive mitigation plans, get-to-green actions, business-impact clarity, and early escalation where delivery or commercial outcomes are at risk • Applying Hitachi Solutions delivery methodology, stage gates, project health reviews, and standard delivery practices while continuously improving execution quality • Managing project budgets of $2M - $10M+ with disciplined forecasting, budget-vs-actual review, estimate-at-complete awareness, margin protection, and proactive action on financial variance • Identifying scope movement, leading re-estimation when needed, and estimating, creating, and delivering Change Orders with clear client alignment and commercial rationale • Leading or supporting Steering Committee governance, stage-gate readiness, executive status reporting, decision management, and value/outcome alignment as required by the delivery process • Providing clear, transparent, action-oriented communication to customers and internal Hitachi Solutions stakeholders on progress, risks, decisions required, delivery challenges, and corrective actions • Contributing to PMO and Delivery Excellence process improvement by capturing lessons learned, improving reusable delivery practices, and adopting standard tools, templates, and reporting discipline • Providing first-line project escalation support to the team, establishing accountability, coaching delivery behaviors, resolving conflicts, and helping address capability or execution gaps • Leading teams through ambiguity while maintaining delivery control, driving timely decisions, balancing competing priorities, and reinforcing execution discipline under pressure
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of professional services project management experience, preferably in complex consulting delivery roles
- Proven project management experience implementing ERP, CRM, Dynamics 365, Azure, and/or broader cloud solutions in a client-facing consulting environment
- Proven experience managing multi-platform, multi-workstream projects across onshore, offshore, client, and delivery teams
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, business and IT executives, customers, vendors, and internal delivery leadership through clear, concise, action-oriented reporting
- Strong balance of business acumen, commercial judgement, stakeholder leadership, and team leadership without relying on formal authority
- Applied experience with project management principles and delivery approaches such as Agile, Scrum, SAFe, CPM, Waterfall, hybrid delivery, and standard governance controls
- Proven success delivering measurable project outcomes in a consulting environment, including predictable execution, client trust, scope control, and financial discipline
- Proven success leading teams of 20+ consultants across multiple time zones, including offshore resources, with clear ownership, cadence, and accountability.
- Must have authorization to work in the USA or Canada.

As the primary point of contact for sponsors, you will oversee project planning, execution, financial management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure studies are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with ICH-GCP, applicable regulations, and Novotech SOPs.
