• Do deep research into the experience of practices within Cherry • Identify and solve points of friction in Cherry’s product offering and business operations • Understand the competitive landscape and ensure Cherry is best-in-class • Define the plan for how Cherry gets to majority market share • Coordinate across Sales, Product, Marketing, Risk, etc. to successfully deploy impactful initiatives • Own metrics such as lifetime value per practice, total transaction volume, market share, and net promoter score (NPS) • Deep-dive into all communications sent to practices from marketing, sales, and product to ensure that they tell a coherent story and are not overwhelming • Collect and organize user feedback to create a prioritized roadmap for product and organizational improvements • Work with Sales and Product to develop compelling collateral to highlight the best and most important aspects about Cherry

Job Requirements

  • Someone who can wear a lot of hats such as sales, product, business operations, and strategy
  • Experience finding 0-1 product-market fit as a startup founder or early employee
  • You like to roll up your sleeves and live the life of your users to develop a deep empathy for their problems
  • Able to do basic spreadsheet modeling for developing a scaling and profitability model

Role Description Responsible for ensuring that all scheduling and planning functions are performed in accordance with procedures and standards for projects across all the company operational groups. Responsibilities - Provide technical direction, training and day-to-day supervision and coaching to Project Scheduling personnel. - Provide leadership on planning, scheduling, analysis to project teams and project scheduling personnel as necessary to meet scheduling requirements. - Provide guidance and management to project scheduling professionals on scheduling and planning functions, interface with management, engineering, construction, contracts and procurement, driving innovative solutions to planning/scheduling clashes. - Create and maintain standard schedule templates for use across business lines. - Develop standard operating procedures for all scheduling personnel to follow. - Assign and manage project assignments for scheduling personnel. - Review and advise on schedules created by scheduling personnel. - Create schedule variations for operations on acceleration, delay, or other special schedule requests to justify Company position. - Provide timely and accurate analysis and reporting to leadership. - Provide quality support to project and corporate management with organizational and administrative activities, including non-routine cost engineering/planning and scheduling guidance analysis and presentations. - Assist in commercial operations and prime contract administration by interfacing with customers. - Meet with and make presentations to client as requested. - Participate in business development efforts by gathering and presenting a variety of background data. - May be required to make informal or formal presentations. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience. - Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification and/or Project Scheduling Professional (PSP-PMI-SP) certification preferred. - Eight years of related experience in planning & scheduling on engineering and/or construction projects. - Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward the company’s Zero Injury principles. - Knowledge/experience using earned value software applications and methodology. - Experienced in Microsoft Office, Excel, Primavera P6. - Excellent leadership and good client relationship skills. - Write reports, business correspondence and document project activities. - Effectively present information and respond to questions from project managers, superintendents, clients, customers and other personnel on the project. - Advanced skills and knowledge of planning & scheduling and reporting techniques. - Ability to work effectively and independently and follow through on assignments and have the ability to work well with others. - Ability to provide accuracy, reliability and completeness in job accomplishments. - Effective oral and written communication skills.
