Role Description We are currently looking to hire a Director of Risk Advisory to join our Corporate team in Kirkland! This position allows for remote working arrangements within the United States. Serve as the lead for Concentric’s Risk Advisory business development strategy, aligning Risk Advisory with the broader sales and growth strategy under the Chief Growth & Strategy Officer. In a hands-on consulting capacity, this role will personally deliver senior-level risk consulting services and manage the pipeline of consulting engagements from initial client contact through delivery and invoicing. Responsibilities - Leads Concentric’s Business Development (BD) efforts with a split portfolio — providing Risk Advisory consulting services directly to clients while driving BD growth for the Risk Advisory and Retainer Partnership service lines. - Business Development responsibilities: - Leads and develops the Manager, BD & Intelligence (Risk Advisory & Proposals), overseeing proposal strategy, intelligence support, RFP response quality, and client development activity. - Contributes to BD strategy discussions with the CGSO and VP of Risk Advisory, providing market insight from active client engagements and the Risk Advisory practice. - Manages Concentric’s retainer and partnership client relationships, serving as the primary point of accountability for clients on ongoing advisory agreements. - Risk Advisory Service Delivery responsibilities: - Develops and maintains the Risk Advisory service methodology, deliverable standards, and quality framework in alignment with VP of Risk Advisory and Concentric’s brand and client expectations. - Coordinates with the VP of Risk Advisory on client support and programmatics — including delivery alignment, retainer client management, and joint pursuit development for Risk Advisory mandates. - Manages the pipeline of Risk Consulting projects, including: - Leading initial client engagements to explain Concentric’s risk consulting services. - Developing proposals. - Providing report-writing support, including AI transcript review and proofreading. - Collaborating with the administrative support and invoicing teams to facilitate an optimized invoicing process. - In a consulting capacity, be prepared to undertake: - Physical security assessments in long form and short form. - Emergency management planning. - Security program reviews. - Workplace Violence Prevention & Response planning and training. - Personal security advisories. - Personal security training. - Fractional Security Director delivery, including the management of 1099 contractors and part-time employees. - Ad hoc risk consulting outside of the above. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in security management, risk management, criminal justice, or a related field, or equivalent experience. - Extensive experience in risk consulting, corporate security, or physical security assessment. - Demonstrated experience leading consulting engagements and managing a project pipeline. - Experience developing proposals and client-facing deliverables. - This position requires up to 40% travel. Preferred Qualifications - Relevant professional certification (e.g., CPP, PSP, or other ASIS credential). - Experience with workplace violence prevention programs and fractional security leadership. - Background in executive or personal protection advisory. Compensation Seattle, Washington Pay Range: $130,000 — $130,000 USD.
