Role Description We're looking for a Digital Project Manager who will own the day-to-day management of our development team—keeping work organized, priorities clear, and delivery moving across website development/maintenance, mobile development/maintenance, and product development/maintenance. This is a hands-on role built for someone who can run a high-volume stream of technology work: intake, prioritization, backlog hygiene, sprint planning, scope control, and stakeholder communication. You'll make sure the dev team is focused on the right things, at the right time, with the right level of clarity—while maintaining a roadmap that reflects real capacity and real priorities. - Dev Team Day-to-Day Management: Run the operating rhythm for the dev team (planning, daily coordination, follow-ups, delivery tracking, unblockers). - Work Intake & Triage: Own incoming tech requests (internal + customer), clarify requirements, assess urgency/impact, and route into the right pipeline. - Priorities & Workload Control: Balance workload across web, mobile, maintenance, and product initiatives—protecting focus and managing tradeoffs. - Backlog Ownership: Keep the backlog clean, current, and build-ready (stories, acceptance criteria, dependencies, definition of done). - Sprint / Iteration Planning: Lead planning, sequencing, and commitment setting—ensuring predictable delivery and realistic timelines. - Roadmap Management: Maintain a roadmap that reflects current tasks, the backlog, customer requests, management priorities, and future work—kept accurate and actively managed. - Scope, Time & Budget Tracking: Track time budgets per initiative, manage scope creep, and ensure delivery stays on time and on budget. - Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate with stakeholders (ops, commercial, customer teams, leadership) to align priorities and unblock decisions quickly. - Release & Quality Coordination: Coordinate QA/UAT, validate requirements, and support clean releases across web/mobile/product. - Process & Tool Stewardship: Maintain and improve how work is tracked, documented, and reported (tickets, documentation, status, cadence). Qualifications - 3+ years in a Digital Project Manager/Digital Product Manager / Product Owner / Technical Project Manager role (or similar) - Proven ability to run day-to-day delivery for a dev team in a high-request environment - Experience managing a mix of new development + maintenance work (bugs, enhancements, tech debt, support requests) - Strong understanding of software delivery cycles (planning, QA/UAT, releases, dependency management) - Strong requirements skills: user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritization frameworks, and stakeholder alignment - Excellent communication skills (technical + non-technical), proactive risk management - Experience with PM tooling (ticketing + documentation + comms) and keeping teams accountable through clarity - Proficient in English (spoken and written) is essential — French/English bilingualism is an asset. - High autonomy and judgment—you drive outcomes without needing senior leadership to push every step Requirements - Comfort with technical concepts (APIs, integrations, data flows, basic architecture constraints) - Experience coordinating mobile/web release workflows - Experience with analytics/KPIs (measuring impact, adoption, support volume) - Experience working with distributed or offshore dev resources What Success Looks Like - The dev team runs with a clear rhythm: priorities are visible, blockers are resolved fast, and delivery is predictable - Web, mobile, and product work is managed proactively—maintenance doesn't become chaos, and new work is properly sequenced - The backlog is never a dumping ground: it's clean, prioritized, and build-ready - Roadmap reflects reality (capacity + priorities) and is kept current as requests and constraints change - Projects and initiatives ship on time and on budget, with controlled scope and fewer last-minute surprises - Stakeholders feel guided and informed - communication is proactive and decisions are made quickly
