Business Systems Analyst

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements for system enhancements or new implementations. • Analyze current business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement. • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. • Work closely with developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations with cross-functional teams. • Support system testing, including creating test cases, executing tests, and validating results. • Ensure solutions meet business needs and comply with organizational standards. • Provide ongoing system support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. • Assist in change management, including user training and documentation. • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
Job Requirements
- Must be active-duty U.S. military service member who qualifies for participation in the DoD SkillBridge Program.
- Strong understanding of business processes and system analysis methodologies.
- Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation tools.
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with ERP, CRM, or enterprise systems (Nice to have).
- Knowledge of data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI) (Nice to have).
- Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile-related credentials (Nice to have).
