Licensing and Business Development Leader – Microsoft Licensing

• Independently manage the quoting, renewal, procurement and license management processes for existing and new customers. • Directly coordinate and negotiate with distribution partners and vendors. • Ensure proper execution of administrative and commercial processes related to licensing. • Rigorously monitor renewal deadlines, expirations and upgrade opportunities for customers. • Implement and manage internal controls and performance indicators for the licensing operation. • Develop and nurture operational and commercial relationships with strategic partners (especially within the Microsoft ecosystem). • Monitor and capture incentive programs, campaigns, funds and opportunities offered by vendors to maximize the area's revenue. • Ensure agile alignment between SGA and partners to optimize commercial and operational processes. • Constantly seek new business opportunities through the partner ecosystem. • Map and proactively contact customers that currently purchase only pure licensing, identifying pain points and opportunities to expand the commercial relationship (cross-selling). • Provide qualified leads to SGA's sales team for Cloud and Cybersecurity projects and services. • Build high-level relationships with procurement and supply departments of target companies. • Lead complex supplier approval (vendor qualification) processes. • Monitor, identify and respond to RFPs, tenders and purchasing opportunities aligned to SGA's portfolio. • Schedule and deliver corporate presentations focused on procurement teams, paving the way for the technical sales team with relevant stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Solid, prior experience with Microsoft licensing (required).
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft licensing programs targeted at mid-market and enterprise customers.
  • Established experience in direct relationship management with distributors and technology partners.
  • Proven experience in commercial and administrative processes and proactive software license prospecting.
  • Senior profile — dynamic, mature, with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong self-management, organizational skills and ability to handle multiple processes autonomously.

Role Description The Business Associate, Client Engagement is responsible to ensure that Altasciences maintains strong traction in the industry through continuous strategic reach-outs to prospect clients. Role Description Business Development Specialist (BDS) is responsible for engaging Health Care Professionals in telephone conversations to promote assigned client products, maximize the product’s selling potential and meet program and Client objectives.
