Payroll Specialist – Part-Time

MAVENTRI

• Support payroll processing and compliance for multiple clients • Provide HR-related support to small and growing businesses • Prepare and process payrolls on different pay schedules • Assist with payroll deadlines and follow-up as needed • Work with team for fractional, project, and consulting services

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience processing payrolls
  • Gusto and Paylocity, required. QuickBooks, Patriot, ADP, and others are a plus.
  • Experience with both small and medium sized business payrolls.
  • Experience with payroll platform implementations and migrations.
  • Experience in drafting payroll-related documentation (process, procedure, etc.) and training material
  • Experience with opening, closing, and resolving issues with state payroll tax accounts
  • Strongly Preferred FPC or CPP (current or past)
  • Experience in a consultant-type role where you have multiple clients
  • Experience with Government Contractor payroll and compliance
  • Located in Florida or Virginia
