• As a Supplier Quality Engineer II, you will play an important role on cross-functional core teams supporting all Medtronic's sites and regions. • This position is responsible for negotiating, reviewing, and approving Quality Agreements with suppliers to ensure alignment on quality system requirements, regulatory compliance, and operational responsibilities. • Ensures that suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services. • Qualifies suppliers according to company standards and may administer a Certified Supplier Program in receiving inspection to ensure cost effectiveness. • Monitors parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle and communicates and resolves supplier-related problems as they occur. • Develops and prioritizes an auditing schedule to ensure that designated suppliers are audited on a regular basis to ensure good manufacturing practices (GMP) and quality standards are met. • Evaluates suppliers' internal functions to assess their overall performance and provides feedback in assessment of their operation. • Some individuals may have responsibilities that include Pre-Market Supplier Quality.

Qualifications - Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role, in a desktop software development environment, preferably on Windows and Linux. - Demonstrable experience with quality assurance for visualization/rendering desktop applications. - Familiarity with performance and load testing, both manual and automated. - Strong understanding of Quality Assurance disciplines, designing tests based on user stories, and testing methodologies including the authoring of functional test plans, regression testing, and performance/load testing scripts. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Exceptional team player with experience working on a scrum team developing desktop products and/or cloud services; understand software and/or services architecture, development, and testing; understand Agile and Scaled Agile. - Knowledge of automated testing tools for Desktop applications. Requirements - Knowledge of scripting languages (Python or Perl). - Experience working with automation frameworks that scale, using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Behave, Robot Framework, or similar. - Familiarity with AWS (Amazon Web Services) or other equivalent public clouds. - Knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals, algorithms, and related concepts. - Knowledge of Autodesk Alias, Autodesk VRED, or other computer-aided industrial design or 3D visualization software is a plus. - Familiarity with automotive design and visualization is a plus.
