Enterprise Sales Executive
SS&C Technologies
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across discount card companies, cash‑pay pricing platforms, patient assistance organizations, eHealth companies, and specialty pharmacies. • Develop a go‑to‑market plan and drive new partnership opportunities. • Use your industry network to connect with decision‑makers at target companies. • Lead conversations about patient affordability solutions, benefit design, pricing, and related technology. • Understand customer needs and match them to the right solutions. • Work closely with product, tech, and operations teams to build proposals and win deals. • Keep up with the latest in PBMs, health plan benefits, discount card pricing, and patient affordability programs. • Bring back insights that help shape strategy and product development. • Lead contract discussions, pricing talks, and partnership terms. • Manage long and complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- 8–12+ years of sales or business development experience in PBMs or health plans
- Drug discount card or cash‑pay pricing platforms
- Pharma hub or patient assistance services
- Specialty pharmacy
- Digital health or healthcare technology
- Own the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, qualification, solution design, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Consistently meet or exceed annual revenue and pipeline targets
- Drive new logo acquisition and expansion within existing accounts
- Existing relationships or strong familiarity with senior leaders across affordability ecosystem.
- Proven ability to close large, complex deals.
- Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to executives.
- Ability to manage long sales cycles and navigate complex organizations.
- Basic understanding of Pharmacy claims and NCPDP standards
- Copay, voucher, and discount card workflows
- Eligibility, pricing, and benefit coordination
- API integrations and tech-enabled healthcare platforms.
