• Perform duties and activities within established company policies and procedures in a professional and ethical manner. • Develop maximum sales growth in an assigned geographical territory. • Contact and call on high prescribing doctors and educators within the diabetes category. • Maintain a high level of disease state, competitive and Abbott Diabetes Care product knowledge. • Manage territory as a business to maximize sales by analyzing market dynamics.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a multi-disciplinary function.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years sales experience.
- Training and knowledge of the diabetes sales and marketing networks.
- Technical background necessary to understand diabetes, modes of treatment, monitoring, etc.
- Problem-solving skills are essential to establish and maintain distribution of existing product lines.
