Opportunity Overview: The Data Platform team at Cohere Health is building a scalable data ecosystem that powers analytics, reporting, and business decision-making. As a Business Analyst II, you'll partner with clients, stakeholders, product managers, and engineers to gather requirements, write user stories, and translate business needs into high-quality data solutions. In this role, you'll independently lead moderately complex initiatives, bring clarity to technical delivery, and help improve processes and workflows. This is a remote-first role that may require travel to Boston, MA for new hire onboarding and occasional in-person team meetings and company events. What you’ll do: - Partner with clients, Client Delivery, Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business and data requirements. - Translate business needs into user stories, epics, and technical requirements to support data product development. - Perform data analysis, source-to-target mapping, and data validation using SQL to ensure data quality and accuracy. - Support data profiling, quality monitoring, and data lineage to improve end-to-end reliability. - Serve as the primary point of contact for requirements clarification throughout project delivery. - Contribute to Agile ceremonies and help improve team processes, documentation, and backlog management. - Support change management, stakeholder communications, and the rollout of new data products and features. - Maintain operational documentation and client reference materials. • Partner with clients and internal teams to understand business goals, project scope, and solution opportunities. • Facilitate discovery workshops, requirements gathering sessions, customer journey mapping, and business process analysis. • Analyze and document current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) business processes. • Produce functional documentation including business requirements, process flows, and solution specifications. • Translate business requirements into Features, Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria. • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Developers, and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle. • Evaluate solution alternatives and recommend functional approaches that balance business needs and technical feasibility. • Ensure requirements remain complete, consistent, traceable, and aligned throughout software delivery. • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. • Support multiple Agile initiatives while maintaining alignment between business objectives and development teams. • Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Validate delivered functionality against business requirements and acceptance criteria. • Track defects, coordinate issue resolution with engineering teams, and support successful retesting. • Serve as the functional point of contact for business stakeholders during testing and implementation.

The IT Business Analyst for our Commercial & Sales Enablement – Salesforce team will combine business analysis and Salesforce expertise to translate business needs into effective, data-driven technology solutions that improve processes and deliver value.
