• Own and optimize payment routing & cascading logic across acquirers/PSPs • Continuously monitor and improve Approval Rate for initial payments and rebills • Write clear technical specs for the developer and validate implementation • Run A/B tests on payment flows and turn results into product decisions • Track PCI DSS compliance requirements relevant to the platform • Build and maintain payment KPI reporting and dashboards • Collaborate closely with a Senior BE developer, the Head of Payments
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner within a B2C product company (payment orchestrator or PSP background, not banking operations)
- Hands-on, practical experience with payment routing, cascading, and Approval Rate optimization (initials & rebills)
- Practical understanding of card processing, Apple Pay, and Google Pay
- Solid understanding of PCI DSS principles
- Experience running A/B tests and using data to drive product decisions
- Ability to write clear technical specs that a developer can build from
- Upper-Intermediate English (B2+) or higher

Role Description Are you a data-driven strategist with a passion for shaping insurance products? GAINSCO is seeking a State Product Manager to manage 2–4 states with full P&L responsibility.
