Role Description Axon Account Managers are responsible for selling Axon products and services to large and complex Law Enforcement and Public Safety agencies. This is a quota carrying, external field position. Ability to articulate complex solutions, build and maintain senior level relationships, navigate across customer agencies/units, and lead the Axon team to success is required. The position provides technical and administrative product information, demonstrations, and/or product training. You will take charge of a significant proportion of customers in Italy and engage in significant complex sales opportunities, often of 7- and 8-digit value. Your success will be built on exceptional relationship building at both operational and board-equivalent levels both externally and internally. What You’ll Do - Manage and grow revenue and market share at designated agencies to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve Axon’s strategic objectives - Develop and maintain client relationships to ultimately drive revenue growth - Develop and execute account strategy by collaborating with account team to deliver stronger, more relevant value propositions - Cultivate customer relationships and ensure effective service delivery to accounts - Focus on customer's satisfaction, know the customer's business and workflows, develop proper contact network within accounts - Support execution of strategy at the account level - Work with and bring in experts/specialists where required - Oversee all account activities - Responsible for forecasting, keep management in touch with accounts in a timely fashion, gather intelligence on competitor activity, and give feedback to marketing - Track customer activity in internal systems in order to execute on account strategy and identify additional opportunities - May provide customer product training as necessary - Accountable for individual expense budget management - Own account relationship and drive overall customer satisfaction for assigned accounts Qualifications - Bilingual in Portuguese and English - Able to travel up to 70% - An extensive demonstrable track record in Software Sales (SaaS / Cloud) - Relationship / consultative selling experience - Able to clearly and directly articulate complex solution offerings - Data management experience using Salesforce or similar CRM - Virtualization and Cloud understanding - Team Player - collaborate with various team members regularly - Ready to own & drive the territory - Startup experience & some vertical experience a plus - Law Enforcement / Public Safety experience a plus Important Notes The above job description is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all duties, responsibilities, skills, efforts, or working conditions associated with this job. Job Description Working with a high degree of independence, the Grants Account Manager serves as a strategic partner to advance the universitys research enterprise. Employed by the Office of Research and Technology Management and deployed within an assigned school portfolio, the position provides integrated, full-lifecycle pre-award and post-award support. Key responsibilities include proposal development, budget preparation, compliance review, financial management, subrecipient oversight, and project closeout. This leadership role partners directly with faculty, central offices, and school administration to reduce administrative burden, manage sponsored funds strategically, and ensure financial integrity. Reporting directly to research and technology management leadership while collaborating closely with school leadership, the manager primarily supports their assigned portfolio but dynamically deploys to assist other university teams based on changing workloads and staffing needs. The manager operates with the authority to accomplish objectives within established university policies, escalating only highly complex or non-routine issues to research and technology management. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Serve as the primary point of contact for faculty throughout the sponsored project lifecycle and coordinate seamless transitions between proposal development, award management, compliance activities, sponsor reporting, and project closeout. Lead and direct complex proposal submission efforts. Collaborate with principal investigators to develop and implement plans to submit high-quality proposals. Interpret proposal requirements. Lead the approval processes required by each grant, including for standalone agreements like data use and non-disclosure agreements. Draft and revise budgets and budget narratives and gather required documents from both internal and external stakeholders. Ensure all proposals are submitted accurately, completed, and on time via SpartaGrants and sponsor systems. Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve submission errors. Oversee compliance review processes. Lead award set-up in SpartaGrants and ensure seamless transition from pre- to post-award duties. The pre-award workload volume will include coordinating and submitting over 100 proposals annually.
