Reporting to the Manager Settlements and Recoveries within the Trade Credit Collections business, you will efficiently recover outstanding debts while maintaining positive relationships with clients. This includes managing legal and enforcement actions in compliance with regulations and supporting the Manager in operational and strategic tasks. Your new role As a Senior Debt Recover Specialist your key responsibilities will include: - Develop appropriate collection strategies to recover monies efficiently and commercially - Build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals - Deliver customer-focused solutions to achieve the best outcomes for policyholders - Make commercial recommendations to achieve financial goals - Review files to identify opportunities for further recoveries and improve financial outcomes - Achieve assigned Recovery Rate KPIs - Provide ongoing training and support to the Credit & Surety Teams - Assist with legal aspects of the recovery process to maximise returns - Undertaking an assessment of a customer's request for financial hardship to allow customers to overcome their financial difficulty About you To be successful as a Senior Debt Recovery Specialist you will have a background in collections and a strong working knowledge of debt collection legal procedures and hardship assistance guidelines. The position is based in Chapel Hill, NC, and is anticipated to follow a hybrid model, combining remote telehealth services with in-person outpatient care. Clinical responsibilities will primarily include providing psychotherapy to a diverse adult population. While mood and anxiety disorders are the most common conditions treated in this setting, bipolar disorders, trauma- and stressor-related disorders, personality disorders, substance use disorders, and other psychiatric conditions may also be a focus of treatment. Additional responsibilities may include conducting screenings and comprehensive clinical assessments for patients new to the clinic. There is no on-call requirement associated with this position.
