The successful candidate will join the UNC Department of Psychiatry as an individual therapist working with a general adult population out of our primary outpatient clinic in Chapel Hill. The position is based in Chapel Hill, NC, and is anticipated to follow a hybrid model, combining remote telehealth services with in-person outpatient care. Clinical responsibilities will primarily include providing psychotherapy to a diverse adult population. While mood and anxiety disorders are the most common conditions treated in this setting, bipolar disorders, trauma- and stressor-related disorders, personality disorders, substance use disorders, and other psychiatric conditions may also be a focus of treatment. The ISO Home Based Clinician reports to the clinical supervisor and serves as a primary therapist and contact for all in-home clients assigned. The ISO Clinician utilizes evidence-based treatment methodologies and ensures the effective implementation of all in-home treatment and programming for clients on their caseload.
