Senior Key Account Manager, Industrial Water Treatment

• Manage a key refinery account, developing strong customer relationships through proactive, value-added technical service. • Identify and pursue opportunities for growth within the account while prospecting for new business using consultative selling techniques. • Review and optimize water treatment programs and processes (cooling systems, boilers, wastewater treatment), ensuring effectiveness through routine monitoring, testing, and program adjustments. • Oversee on-site inventory management, including coordinating chemical orders, deliveries, and proper stock levels. • Maintain and grow revenue through strategic account management and continuous improvement initiatives. • Lead and manage site priorities and projects, ensuring service delivery meets Solenis standards and customer expectations. • Troubleshoot and maintain feed systems, dosing equipment, and utility systems in the field. • Conduct regular business reviews, prepare and present technical reports, and lead customer meetings with clear, data-driven insights.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in industrial water treatment sales, with strong knowledge of boiler, cooling, and/or wastewater systems.
  • Demonstrated success managing large industrial or refinery accounts.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
