Role Description The Site Manager is the primary on-site leader responsible for executing and coordinating start-up, testing, and commissioning of medium- and low-voltage power delivery systems within mission-critical data centers. Working alongside the Project Manager, the Site Manager ensures safe, high-quality, and schedule-aligned delivery of all field execution activities. This role is the primary onsite contact for the client, commissioning firms, contractors, and other site stakeholders, representing ABB with professionalism, technical expertise, and strong leadership. The work model for the role is: Remote in the US #LI- Remote. This role is contributing to the Electrification Service Data Center Services COE in the United States. Key Responsibilities - On-Site Execution & Commissioning Leadership: - Lead all onsite activities related to equipment start-up, testing, installation, and commissioning in accordance with project scope, quality standards, schedule targets, and safety requirements. - Ensure work is executed in compliance with ABB procedures, customer standards, and the project’s commissioning strategy. - Coordinate daily activities with the Project Manager to validate resource readiness, material availability, and milestone alignment. - Customer & Stakeholder Interface: - Serve as the primary onsite representative for the client and all site stakeholders. - Maintain strong, professional relationships and communicate daily progress, issues, and risks. - Support customer meetings, walk-downs, and documentation reviews as required. - Site Planning & Coordination: - Plan onsite activities, labor, equipment needs, commissioning sequences, and daily/weekly coordination routines. - Collaborate closely with the general contractor, electrical contractor, safety managers, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration of ABB work. - Manage site logistics, including receiving, handling, staging, and storage of ABB-delivered equipment. - HSE Leadership: - Implement and uphold ABB’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards on site. - Maintain a site-specific safety plan and ensure all ABB and subcontractor personnel are trained and compliant. - Take immediate corrective action—including stopping work—if unsafe conditions arise. - Quality, Documentation & Reporting: - Ensure accurate and timely completion of all field documentation, including test reports, start-up checklists, redlines, field service reports, and punch-list updates. - Maintain up-to-date drawings and documentation throughout the project. - Support quality audits, inspections, and customer acceptance processes. - Subcontractor & Vendor Oversight: - Oversee ABB-hired subcontractors, ensuring compliance with scope, safety, quality, and schedule expectations. - Resolve field issues, clarify scope questions, and coordinate multi-trade work interfaces. - Cost, Schedule & Resource Management: - Monitor site costs and provide updates to the Project Manager regarding projected final cost. - Track schedule progress, identify challenges early, and drive corrective actions when needed. - Manage onsite purchasing within established guidelines. - People Leadership: - Ensure the site team is properly staffed, skilled, and supported. - Provide direction, coaching, and daily leadership to ABB field engineers, technicians, and support staff. - Coordinate local accommodations, site facilities, tooling, and workspaces for ABB personnel. Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in electrical equipment field service, start-up, testing, or commissioning, preferably with OEM-manufactured LV/MV/HV equipment. - Experience supporting data center construction or mission-critical electrical infrastructure projects. - Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, electrical protection systems, and power distribution equipment. - High school diploma required; advanced electrical or mechanical training preferred. - Ability to travel 80–100% throughout North America, often for extended durations. - Demonstrated ability to lead onsite operations in fast-paced, schedule-driven environments. - Familiarity with engineered solutions including modern digital protection systems and IEC 61850 environments preferred. • Responsible for leading and managing the reimbursement field team in a specified geographic district at Regeneron. • Lead, coach, and manage a Field Reimbursement Manager team responsible for calling on office personnel. • Ensure optimal access, effective pull-through, and educating on reimbursement services and program support. • Execute reimbursement initiatives in the various therapeutic markets where the product is indicated. • Work with internal and external partners to ensure optimal coverage within the defined customer base. • Collaborate with Sales and Access leadership teams to lead regional and local strategy for payer and provider access. • Develop and execute local tactical plans for brand access initiatives relevant to defined needs.
