Role Description We're looking for an engineer who can make an impact on the entire product: the mobile app, the web app, and the backend. You'll be the person who understands how the whole system fits together, ships features end to end, and keeps production healthy. What You'll Own: - The mobile app — our primary product surface. Booking, events, messaging, feed, referrals, and rewards, built on Expo / React Native. - The web app — public booking flows, share links, and OG images on TanStack Start (SSR). - The backend — a tRPC + Drizzle API over Postgres, plus cron jobs and third-party integrations. - Shipping and uptime — releases through EAS and Elastic Beanstalk, and production incident response when it counts. What We're Looking For: You're comfortable moving across the full stack — building a native feature in the morning, debugging a query in the afternoon, and owning the release that ships both. Specifically, you'll need: - Strong TypeScript, front to back. - Production React Native / Expo experience — real builds, native modules, EAS, and the App Store release process. - Solid relational data modeling and SQL — comfort with an ORM (Drizzle or similar) and schema migrations. - An ownership mindset — you're at home maintaining a full-stack app, debugging in production, and owning your releases end to end. • Participate in and lead the entire biosignal-based algorithm development lifecycle for medical devices including specifications and requirements gathering, data curation and labeling, development, failure-analysis, production, maintenance, and documentation. • Select, implement, and develop the most appropriate method for each problem, knowing when to apply deep learning techniques and when other methods are more effective. • Enhance our internal deep learning and machine learning tools to boost team efficiency, introduce new model architectures and algorithmic techniques, and refine the codebase to encourage reusability where needed to enable rapid experimentation. • Spread and improve our best practices to ensure algorithm implementations are user-friendly, well-documented, and thoroughly tested, including unit tests, comprehensive documentation, CI, and non-regression testing. • Present results to key stakeholders and assist them in utilizing algorithms for client engagement. • Support the client-facing projects to understand and shape the impact Beacon algorithms have for our customers, both for existing deployed algorithms, and future algorithm development.

• Support daily platform operations, including onboarding new applications to the OpenShift platform • Performing platform upgrades and patching activities • Managing and patching OpenShift operators • Supporting storage and deployment automation technologies • Participating in project and operational meetings • Providing platform support during scheduled maintenance windows when necessary

Role Description Senior Support Engineers are driven to solve complex issues and provide solutions to make our customers successful. Our customers depend on the highly skilled technical engineers in our software product support group to help drive the success of their B2B investments, including Sterling B2B Integrator. Candidates should have strong problem-solving skills and technical depth. Excellent planning and communication skills are a must for case management. - Provide world-class technical support over the phone, remote desktop connections, and through case management systems. - Investigate, analyze, and solve complex problems occurring on a wide range of platforms, software systems, and databases. - Understand the complexities of enterprise systems and determine the cause of issues. - Continuously learn new technology, tools, systems, and share knowledge within the team. - Contribute to comprehensive internal and external knowledge base documentation. - Debug and provide recommended solutions and tools to address product issues and enhancements. - Periodic weekend and late shifts for time zone coverage and on-call support. Qualifications - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field (Equivalent work experience will be accepted). - A minimum of 5 years providing technical support over the phone, remote desktop connections, and through case management systems. - Experience supporting, developing, or managing Sterling B2B Integrator or Sterling File Gateway is highly desired. - Excellent communication (oral and written), strong interpersonal/customer relations skills, and exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Self-motivated and enthusiastic when working with difficult problems and tight deadlines. Requirements - Understanding of networking design principles and protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP/S, S/FTP, SMTP, AS2, and others. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. - Distributed computing experience, including networked clustering, cloud services, and load balancing. - Operating system (AIX, RHEL, Windows, RHOCP) knowledge and administration. - Database systems (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, DB2, ODBC and JDBC protocols). - Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other virtualization technology. - Applies AI tools to analyze logs, error messages, and diagnostic outputs. - Uses AI-generated scripts, queries, and troubleshooting workflows to accelerate problem resolution. - Understands the limitations of AI-generated technical recommendations and validates results. - Experience using tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot. Preferred Skills - Understanding of database management systems including relational database design principles, tuning, SQL execution, and configuration. - Knowledge of NoSQL distributed databases such as Cassandra. - Experience reading and/or writing C, C++, Java, or other object-oriented languages. - Detailed knowledge of one or more of the following technologies is a plus: - Experience supporting, developing, or managing Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling File Gateway, Partner Engagement Manager. - UNIX/Linux (AIX, Red Hat EL, Solaris, HP-UX) and Windows knowledge and administration. - Database systems (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, DB2, JDBC). - Messaging system tools such as JMS or IBM MQ. - B2B communication protocols such as AS2, SWIFT, Connect:Direct, and older protocols ldap, sftp, ftp, https with both server and client authentication.
