Role Description Primary focus of role is to provide guidance and assistance to account teams and clients, by using financial decisional making tools, and to speak effectively on behalf of the Financial Benefits Consulting team regarding core services. - Demonstrate proficiency at collection of required data and materials needed for the successful completion of various projects at direction and under supervision of team leaders. - Analyze data from carriers on clients, and provide recommendations to account management teams or to clients, in order to effectively negotiate rates and funding levels. - Prepare, analyze and consult on various client deliverables, as defined by the scope of services of the Financial Benefits Consulting team. - Demonstrate understanding of whether or not analysis “makes sense”; can think beyond the numbers on the page. - Maintain workflow tracking application or logs, as established by management and departmental guidelines and protocol. - Competently and independently review contract documents such as SPDs, administrative agreements, claim exclusions and limitations, etc. in order to determine impact on financial reports. - Actively participate in and utilize the peer review process, per departmental guidelines. - Conduct any activity for special assignments as assigned by management. - Coordinate with and be able to adapt to differences in carriers' underwriting and report teams with regards to managing the planning, timelines, formatting, etc. related to data needed in order to complete requested reports/projects. - In conjunction with the GSC Financial Benefits Consulting and the Client Teams, responsible for assisting with collecting data and preparing reports, to demonstrate financial status for identified clients. • Perform analysis to understand trends in engagement, areas of program strength, and opportunities for improvement; turn this analysis into actionable insights to optimize where we are focused over time. • Manage finance data synced from multiple platforms, create data structures that aggregate and standardize fundraising data for analysis and reporting. • Run and validate fundraising models produced by Data Science team • Recommend and design experiments to optimize fundraising efforts including, but not limited to, A/B testing on digital campaigns and to direct mail audiences. • Build and maintain automated reporting to empower our team with key insights into program performance. • Work with engineering teams to consult on data products that can be used to streamline reporting code. • Work with Tech Team stakeholders to develop products that streamline repetitive processes, such as targeting, universe development, and list movement between tools; consult on data products that can be used to streamline reporting code and other system automation. • Manage ad hoc data requests from stakeholders, ensuring quick turnaround while maintaining data accuracy and quality.
