Role Description Primary focus of role is to provide guidance and assistance to account teams and clients, by using financial decisional making tools, and to speak effectively on behalf of the Financial Benefits Consulting team regarding core services. - Demonstrate proficiency at collection of required data and materials needed for the successful completion of various projects at direction and under supervision of team leaders. - Analyze data from carriers on clients, and provide recommendations to account management teams or to clients, in order to effectively negotiate rates and funding levels. - Prepare, analyze and consult on various client deliverables, as defined by the scope of services of the Financial Benefits Consulting team. - Demonstrate understanding of whether or not analysis “makes sense”; can think beyond the numbers on the page. - Maintain workflow tracking application or logs, as established by management and departmental guidelines and protocol. - Competently and independently review contract documents such as SPDs, administrative agreements, claim exclusions and limitations, etc. in order to determine impact on financial reports. - Actively participate in and utilize the peer review process, per departmental guidelines. - Conduct any activity for special assignments as assigned by management. - Coordinate with and be able to adapt to differences in carriers' underwriting and report teams with regards to managing the planning, timelines, formatting, etc. related to data needed in order to complete requested reports/projects. - In conjunction with the GSC Financial Benefits Consulting and the Client Teams, responsible for assisting with collecting data and preparing reports, to demonstrate financial status for identified clients. Qualifications - Required: Bachelor's degree and 0 years related experience. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office. Role Description We are seeking a Sr. Grants & Contracts Analyst who will be responsible for comprehensive financial and award management, overseeing the accounting, finance, and contract needs of the SMART4TB Consortium. The Sr. GCA is a member of the SMART4TB Senior Management Team and provides high-level financial project management to ensure financial, contractual, and process efficiency and compliance of the project. - Ensure transparent procurement processes, grantee expenditure tracking, and grantee capacity-building in fund management and reporting. - Provide dedicated professional-level sponsored funds management for more than 80% of the time. - Handle pre-award and post-award functions including proposal preparation, submission, budget development, account maintenance and oversight, billing/invoicing, reporting, compliance, and closeout. - Work independently on a variety of grants/contracts that range from moderately to highly complex.
